Pegasus Hobbies Prepainted River Set PGH5220

Very much happy with this purchase! For a pre-painted piece of scenery, I think it not only looks great, but it's also a well constructed model. Right out of the box, it's ready to go! This is not a negative point, just wishlisting, but I wish it came with more pieces and made the river longer! However, at this price point, I've already ordered another river and that should give me more than enough to send the river from one side of my 40k table to the other. (So, approximately 6ft in total.) Very much recommend this if you want a river for your gaming table.

It doesn't look 100% the greatest thing ever, but it does look very good for a prepainted set and it made it worth it's money already. This simplifies having to paint things and getting that "right" look. This set has 6 prepainted section that join easily and look like the picture shows. This was great to use for tabletop gaming; 40k, Dragon Age, etc.The only downside for 40k use is that it is 40 inches long, and not the 48 inches of the shortest table length; but this can be compensated for. It's worth the price, and I recommend it for people who want to have a river in their tabletop gaming, especially if they don't have as much time to paint.

You can’t be mad at the Design...good colors, lays flat and they give enough pieces to make a straight or slightly curved river. I used it in my 3D Palladium Rifts game and it looked great. I am very happy! I might even buy it again for when the party has to travel down a river bank.

They look great! The colors are not 100% realistic, but they make it easy to identify them as a water feature on the table top. As a 23 year tabletop War game veteran I know that making rivers and lakes can be time consuming and are easy to mess up. These look great out of the box. My only regret is that I should have bought two.

This is really good terrain for a WHFB game. It's relatively short though, being roughly 3'-4' long, but enough to span the perimeter of a table quarter. Two of these sets would be fine for a table-spanning river. If they added a ford piece, it would be nice too, but you can always make up something for that.Pieces are well-painted and snap together with tabs/slots, so they stay together when connected. The plastic is a little "cheap" feeling, but seems like it will take some abuse before breaking.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this, though I'd prefer a longer set. 4 stars because it's not "awesome", but definitely fills a need and does it well.

Added more variety to my gaming table. Looks absolutely amazing, good tabletop paint quality. Will probably end up buying a second set sooner or later to make an even longer river.

Ok so this isnt the most gorgeous set of water and you can make water out of clay and resins with some dye. But who has the time? Besides the materials for that cost more and this set with 2 or 3 of them will do the jobm. They are not the most pretty sets but I find them pretty enough as a feature piece. I just wish the company would make lava and acid rivers and lakes.
