We own an independent casual restaurant, and we occasionally host shows including karaoke, private parties and performers. We dim the dining room lights for those events and wanted to provide some fun lighting. This fit the bill perfectly... has fun features and options and the function that allows it to "sync" with the music is great. We mounted it on the wall in the back of the space, but it's very portable and you can easily just stand it on the floor, stool or anything sturdy. I think it would be great for a travelling DJ, etc. One suggestion: We decided to angle the lights upward toward the ceiling and above our customer's line of vision. The lights are rather bright and some options have a "strobe" effect so we didn't want it to shine directly toward anyone. Overall very pleased, and the price is very good for the features. The unit is sturdy and mounting to a wall, if you choose to do so, just requires a single strong hook or anchor bolt and a large washer to hold it in place (mounting hardware is not included).

These are amazing for the cost with many different functions, just wish it had a true rotating white “disco ball” function. Outside of that it’s a definite value for any function or get together, no matter the size of room you’re wanting to light up your party!

We are happy with this product.

Received a broken unit that did not power on. I then ordered a second unit that did not come with a power cord. This product has major production quality issues. I would AVOID this one.

The media could not be loaded.  This little thing is great. We use it for our home music recording room. Pair it with a little fog and it makes for lovely effects. The remote is intuitive and simple, and its really easy to get a party going quickly. The only main note is that we had a problem with the center green laser beam - the way it projected there is one bright beam pointing straight out that doesn't move. I tried wiggling the diffraction grating that is in front of it to adjust it but I couldn't get it to move.When there are lots of beams going every which way it wasn't noticeable, but it ended up being a problem in one of our video recording sessions.I like the lights on the sides also. Sometimes with these kind of light devices you get the feeling that you only see white, red, blue green. This little light merges and moves the lights that other colors come out and there is more of a rainbow disco sensation. It is quiet, and great that it has various modes and you can choose and pick what functions are happening.We love it for the home studio.

This light is mediocre at best. The light pattern is not very wide at all. If you want wider, I would buy more than 1.Also, there is no way to change the color changing at all, and the colors change pretty fast.
