Great feeder with good longevity
This is a great and sturdy feeder. The picture proves it. My home backs to the woods and the squirrels give up. Once in a great while a small one will squeeze in the cage but usually regrets it and has to struggle to get out.The feeder on the left is several years old. The one on the right was just put together. I feed a lot of birds, finches, nut hatches, titmouse, and chickadees eat safely. The medium size birds can enjoy whats on the tray.I do have woodpeckers whose beaks can reach the seed, but don’t mind seeing them. No jays, starlings, cow birds or bully birds can get in. Believe me I’ve lost a lot of feeders over the decades. So thank you Masloly for making a great feeder. Its easy to keep clean, holds a lot of seed, and was easy to put together. The cost is fair for a caged metal feeder too! This one is a keeper birders!!

A pretty bird feeder but squirrel-proof it’s NOT
This is a very attractive bird feeder and easy enough to put together. Unfortunately squirrels in my neighborhood are all slender enough (southwest Ohio) to comfortably go through the cage opening, sit securely right next to feed ports and chowing away happily. While I am disappointed that it is nowhere near being squirrel-proof, it’s a good quality feeder.

Very easy to assemble, very sturdy! My second one!
We have seasonal painted buntings, small skiddish birds. We also have very stubborn squirrels. Used this model last year, bought a second for this year. I love how easy it is to fully clean, comes apart to get to all the seed hiding places. Easy to put together!

Bad design - avoid this bird feeder. The ports get dirty and can't be removed or cleaned
The basic design is sturdy and well made, BUTthe problem is the feeding ports and how they are attached !Birds started avoiding this feeder soon after the first rain and now I finally figured out why.The 4 ports are attached with bent tabs, which you can not reach or remove. What happened its that bird seed got stuck behind the hollowed out metal ports and then rotted.BIRDS WILL NOT FEED FROM FEEDES WITH MOLDING OR ROTTING SEEDS.The problem is that it is impossible to remove the ports for cleaning.I was able to rinse them clear, but it required flexing the clear plastic tube, which will eventually crack. This is a terrible design flaw - the ports have to be removed to clear out the built up mold. The rest of the design is great and well made. This defect can easily be fixed by installing removable ports. So, i have had to remove the ports and install my own from another brand feeder.Don't buy this bird feeder unless it is always used in a dry location.

Works well to keep the squirrels out
Easy to assemble and fill. I had it hanging less than an hour after it arrived. So far the squirrels have not figured out how to chew holes in it to steal the seeds.

Almost perfect!
Really like this feeder, but solid bottom meant to catch seed, actually attracts squirrels. Although the feeder cage keeps squirrels out of the tube area, the solid bottom allows squirrels to stick head through and eat whatever seed falls onto bottom. This scares off birds I am trying to feed. My old tube feeder had a cage bottom for excess seed to fall to ground where squirrels could access, but not hanging on the feeder thereby disturbing birds. Would be great if this feeder could be available with both a solid bottom and a grid style bottom. Still like this feeder, larger tube seed capacity, and very well built. Trying now a metal squirrel baffle to keep pesky squirrels off my new feeder. Initial results look very promising. Thanks.

Keeping the starlings away
I purchased a less expensive version first but had to return because the cage wasn't big enough for the even the smaller birds to get in to eat. The Mosely brand, although a little more expensive, did the trick. The birds started using immediately and the starlings, as hard as they tried, could not reach the food. Savings comes with purchasing less bird food. Very satisfied with this feeder.

larger birds can feed
The feeder is nice looking and well made. I'm disappointed to see larger Jays being able to use the feeder, the wire openings are large enough for them to reach the 4 small openings for seed. I bought this to replace an older feeder that allowed songbirds only to feed.

Chickadees love it.
Fairly wide tube so it holds a lot of seeds. The chickadees flit in and out of is with ease. The sparrows are taking their time and slowly getting used to it. They do prefer a bigger cage with a wider gap but they can use this feeder. For the price point it is an excellent choice to feed the smaller birds. It is well built and sturdy and quite easy to clean. Not hard to put together either. It is a good little feeder.Update:It is definitely not too small - the red wing blackbirds are now eating out of it too. I was hoping they would be more comfortable with their platform and fly through feeders but it appears they like this little feeder just as much.Sigh… lol

Effective squirrel deterrent!
Hanging from an extended pole 6 feet off the ground. After a couple of weeks, only 1 squirrel (of dozens!) has managed to extract a few seeds. Only chickadees enter the cage to feed. Finches, Cardinals, etc need external perch. I run a few small sticks through the cage. So far, so good!

Wild bird feeder
I like this one. Very sturdy well made parts. You do have to put it together so be ready with screwdriver for that. I have gone through a lot of wild bird feeders (squirrel problem) from birding stores which can range in price to over $100 . This one compares to them with the exception of that the others are already assembled. I would recommend this feeder.

Mosquito cage
This isn’t a bird feeder it’s a bird cage the only things flying around my back yard that can get in between the mesh to get to the food are mosquitoes and wasps.
