Worked great
This was so easy to install and everything sealed up nicely. Plumbing isn’t my favorite job around the house but replacing this valve took less than ten minutes. The quality is good.

Saddle Valve that works great!
This saddle valve worked perfectly! Easily piercing the 3/4” copper pipe without any leaks.

Ok, but make sure valve is screwed into saddle plate before starting
Good enough quality. But the elbow valve piece came barely attached to the saddle plate. I didn’t think to check. It blew off as I tightened the two bolts to attach to pipe.So..Just give the elbow valve a couple turns to engage; no need to go all the way in. Rotate the valve lever to back out the plunger needle until after saddle is fully attached and seated. Then screw in valve to pierce the pipe.

Perfect Replacement
This is a perfect replacement to my old one. My ice maker stopped filling and water dispenser stop dispensing. Changed the pump and thinking I got bad water filters. Then it occurred to me to check the valve. Turns out it was blocked with calcium and the valve was frozen stuck. Easy replacement. Just need to make sure the rubber washers are lined up properly with tightening. Installed in 10 minutes. Turned the water back on. Now have ice and water again. Only regret is that I could have saved $100 if I checked this little valve first before replacing the water pump on the fridge.

Valve defective
The valve would not pierce the standard copper pipe. The needle broke off. I had to use a drill to open the hole in the pipe.
