My dog recently got attacked by a Pitt that got away from it's owner (leash slipped). Went right to bite neck + shake, I thought my dog would be dead.This gave me worries about walking anywhere with other dogs, since it could easily happen again! But this will prevent the depth of teeth into his neck, and also injure the attacking dog if they do decide to try.Other reviews say it did work against pitts and also in deterring attacks. I wouldn't bite a stabby collar, either.Also it's kind of punk rock.

Great product!!! I wanted something a bit more extreme and intended to use this for an everyday Collar. After some modifications, I ended Up at the finished product in photo. I also cut off the Metal "D-Ring"; wouldn't trust the riveted P-U Leather to hold a large pulling Dog. If you do decide to use this for walking, I would highly suggest having a well secured Dog Tag with your Name, Number, and Home Address in case it snaps. I also bought another in all black that I am in the process of modifying.

Collar is highly noticeable, solid construction and proper in sizing. Basically worth under 20 like I paid. I am satisfied with product.

Guess I bought it a little too big for my boy. I've had it about a year, but now he has grown into it still looks good, and still durable enough for him. Works for us!

If you live in the area where there are many strays or coyotes, get this. I got my dog this after he got into a dog fight. Since I’ve gotten it he’s gotten attacked twice when he goes out to use the restroom but the collar protected his neck from the pitbull twice, the other dog was injured from his mouth. I really recommend this product and it was worth the money.
