Compact. But has amazing power in a small size. My husband is extremely happy with it. Uses it often. I'd recommend this product to others.

I have to say this little device works great. A coworker recommended it to me and it does the job well. I have major lower back, hip pain and this helps with the pain. The only thing I would like to change is the size of the pads. I wish they were bigger. It has excellent battery life.
