"This December 9th delivery was exactly what I needed! Soft, green timothy hay that my rabbit with dental issues loves. Previous orders from various sellers have been hit or miss, but this batch was outstanding. The hay was fresh, mostly green pieces (not yellow stems), and perfect texture. I want to order more but need to know how to ensure I get this same quality consistently. What should I look for or request when ordering? This is the standard I'm hoping for in future purchases!"

Bunnies love it, but prepare to keep buying it because they’ll refuse to eat any other hay. Best part is that it’s dust free, so if won’t drive your allergies crazy.

This first cut hay was a life saver for me. Watching my daughter’s guinea pigs for an extended stay. I have a hay allergy, this brand is basically dustless, great for me. The guinea pigs loved it, excited eating it each day. Lots of squeals and squeaks.

Killed 1 of my healthy, 2.5 year old (so not elderly!) Guinea pigs, and made other 2 lethargic, & eventually not want to eat much of anything. Vet confirmed death was due to something ingested. 2 days after swapping the 2 surviving piggies hay back to Oxbow...boom! ...back to normal energy during daily floor time, wheeking like mad for their hay & fresh veggies, and just the occasional splootin', as is normal. No doubt in our minds, this food took out a completely healthy, happy, sweet, mid-aged piggies of ours. May look pretty & green, but it's got to be due to some chemical processing, as our investigation led us to find its coming all the way from China. All 8 ziplock bags containing the "Timothy hay" inside intial packing were wide open, along with the shipping port delays on top of it!??! ...they're using our pets as "Guinea Pigs" to test. Doesn't take a math wizard to see the "freshness" doesn't add up. You killed my 10 year old's extremely loved Guinea Pig pet. SHAME ON YOU, SoCool. I was looking for hay that won’t leave dust all over the room. This does the trick! It’s soft but firm with zero dust. The guinea pig isn’t a huge fan for some reason, but she’s a bit picky. I’m gonna keep encouraging it because it’s very nice hay.

Have been trying for 3 years now to get this bunny to eat hay & he absolutely refuses, until now. Opened this first bag up and he ripped the first piece right out of my hands before I could offer it to him! It's beautiful hay grass. Stick straight so easy to provide to encourage him to eat & not messy, beautiful color/smell - so fresh, fragrant, and excellent tasting. I can vouch for this, I munched on a few strands myself, and it is very tasty. If you ordered 2.2 lb package, when you get the package it is so super sealed that at first you may think it's only 1.1 lb that you received because you'll see the label says that, but once you cut the seal on the bag inside are 2 individual bags. I had called in a huff thinking a mistake was made. It was my bad and had to call amazon back to apologize LOL. Yes, it seems a little pricey, but if you're at your wits end or just want to give a really nice treat to your bunny I think it's well worth every penny!

It’s greener and seems fresher than other brands I’ve tried. The BEST thing about it is that my students with allergies don’t sneeze when I feed my guinea pigs.

I am 120% satisfied with my order. It arrived quickly, and my bunny absolutely loves the hay. Additionally, I love that they include a small package of Timothy pellets. My previous order of this same hay never arrived, but I was able to get a full refund, so I will continue purchasing this hay for as long as I have my bunny.
