I don't normally review, but credit where credit is due. I use this machine because I have chronic undiagnosed lower back issues; I suspect it's related to the sacro-iliac joint but the docs can't confirm. Anyway by starting and finishing all exercise sessions with this device and also just using regularly I find I get the stretch and the exercise that the muscles around there need. Key is to engage the core really hard while performing the back extension, then you'll find the back is stretched and the core is engaged ready for anything else.Biggest fear was that it wouldn't be long enough; - I'm 6ft 3" / 1m 90cm but in fact I'm not even on the longest setting. It shortens up plenty as well if you're a bit of a midget. I'm 92kg and it's easily strong enough too. The inclination adjustment is also useful and I'm only on the middle inclination, - could still go harder or easier.What few folk mention about the back-extension is what a good stretch of hamstrings and calfs it also provides; = also helpful for stiff lower back. I use it for dips too and it's pretty good for that, - so get some upper body strength as well as the oblique curls which I can't be bothered with much. Item arrived well packaged and on time. Overall great product no complaints at all and has had plenty of use.

Really good piece of equipment, as it is predominantly designed to target the core; with the frame being designed for back extensions and side bends. As this is one of the more expensive options Amazon have, you are able to adjust the frame to be able to do various exercises, making it more value for your money. I was a little doubtful when I saw the guy doing dips in the video and I can say that the frame does wobble slightly when you do dips off the handle bars, so proceed with caution! Overall, really good piece of training equipment. Easy assembly, foldable for easy storage and a very good quality. I would only recommend others buying this if you are going to actually incorporate it into your training often, as it does cost £129.00 which is a lot of money if you are not going to make the most of it!

My rating is very much a 5, but include the interaction with Innovamaxx UK and it would be a 5+ (or 6!)The bench itself: The design is quite standard, tried and trusted, and yup – you can find cheaper.... but the quality, build and finish on this Sportstech model makes the (somewhat small amount of) extra money well worth it. The kit has a good weight, giving great stability and thus a higher sense of trust when using it. As a Personal Trainer, this is excellent for all of my clients (who are such a varying degree of size and weight), and is still portable enough that I can take it to wherever needed without too much hassle.Something I have noted in cheaper models is that when you are on the equipment, the locking mechanism makes the kit angle slightly to one side, so you have a need (once in position) to ‘adjust’ your body to the opposite side of the lean to compensate. This risks working out with a muscular imbalance, which could lead to muscular dysfunction. I did not notice this however on this model, which is a big plus in my book.I also feel a lot more confident in performing dips and press ups on this model than others, increasing it’s use to me compared to other kit like it.Innovamaxx UK: In these trying times (especially in the UK where we have Brexit to add to our Covid issues!), companies managing to keep up with orders and balance the import/supply demand is not easy, however Innovamaxx have certainly proven to me that they can deliver, in both the real sense of the word and in customer satisfaction. I'm quite late reviewing this as I purchased it back in 2021, but on the plus side I can say that it still looks like it did on the day I received it despite a lot of use so has proved very durable. It was very easy to assemble and is of a good quality and stable build. I've been very impressed and happy with it.

This is a very well made but of kit, very easy to put together and hopefully exactly what I needed as my back needs some stretching and strength, so I can get back to my exercise!So far so good - feel a lot taller already!If you have a moderately bad back - Get this!

Really good but wobbles

The more I’ve used this item the more it has annoyed me how the part to hold my legs in position isn’t straight, meaning that my legs cannot be held evenly on both sides. That part is just poorly made, and it’s welded into position incorrectly and impossible to correct without completely changing the part. Additionally, the dip bars are not very stable so they’re difficult to get any real benefit from.

Needs minimal assembly. Made of good quality materials. Good for sit-ups, back stretches and dips. It does take a little bit of faith when using as a dip bar, mainly because of the position of the handles but you can do them easily enough once you get used to it.
