I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! These work GREAT!!!
This is my 3rd order! This is amazing for wounds that you need to close up. I've only had to buy 3 packs because I have a wound situation on my back that was originally assisted. They cleaned it out at the hospital packed. It sent me home, but didn't send me home with the antibiotic so now I have an infection and bacteria all over the hardware in my back (I have rode in my back) and because of the infection and bacteria, it will not heal so I'm on a heavy duty anabiotic until I can get into surgery so in the meantime, I've been using these to try to keep it closed and as tight as I can while I'm on the anabiotic. I highly recommend these and if you want to get in the water and you don't want to worry about any type of an infection you can buy new skin the stuff they put on new tattoos. We live on the water and I love to go out on the boat, but I will not get in that water with this open wound so I will use this Band-Aid and then I will take a large piece of the new skin. I also bought on Amazon and I will cover it oversize on my back so I don't have to worry about water getting into my wound..

Definitely a great addition to first aid kit
My kit came with 4 bandages, 6-alcohol pads and 8-cotton swabs. The opening in the bandage is right at 2” and it looks like you might be able to string them in series if needed. In the one picture, I didn’t want to open the bandage package but I held it to my arm for size reference. My opinion: Fortunately I haven’t had to use them yet but I definitely am feeling better about having them. I do a lot of outdoor activities and tree cutting and often times I am alone. This would be simple enough to apply by myself and don’t think it would require any special equipment or help. I only had 1 incident, quite some time ago, where I needed something like this. But way back when, something like this was not even available. Back then, if you got cut deep, you used to have to just wrapped it up with part of your tee shirt and use whatever tape you had, to keep the shirt from unraveling. After you got it wrapped up, you just hoped for the best and headed to the clinic for stitches. The problem was that the tee shirt and tape method didn’t close the wound and you lost a lot of fluid. If you use this in conjunction with your tee shirt and electrical/duct tape you might even be able to keep working.I’m not saying I want to use them, but I will definitely post an update if I have to.

Perfect I have Ehlers-Danlos supported stitches.
This product is a game changer. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. So, my surgical stitches or any scars tend to widen and or become a keloid. My cuts and wounds don't heal as nicely as people without this chronic disease.Anyway, my surgical removal of a nerve in my foot, done above my ankle with a 1.5-inch site after stitch removal, started to widen and lengthen to 2 inches and 3/4 inches wide.I found these looking for butterfly stripes. I could decrease my scar to 1.5 inches and .5 inches wide. I had to wear these for five additional weeks. I told my surgeon about these, and he said it might be a good idea to convince any surgeon to leave stitches in longer next time. Show them these and see if they would use them to support the wound externally.Either way, I plan to support any stitches or more significant cuts I get. I wish these were around when I c-sections but mine healed perfectly but some don't for people who carry a lot of weight.

Haven't used them yet
I bought these for an emergency. Better to have them on hand. My neighbor has used them. She also keeps them on hand as she has four sons. They are always getting banged up.

I like to be preparred.
I worked in a busy ER for 30 years and learned how to be prepared. Even ass a retired guy I still keep a trauma bag in my truck and these wound closure devices are great when needed. Hope for the best. Plan for the worst...

Works Great
This is an awesome product to have on hand. I have used butterfly stitches in the past but if in real need for a gash that is fairly deep this product pulls the cut closed. Once the cut is properly cleaned of debris, area dry this suture can be applied and then bandaged.Urgent Care or your doctor may still be recommended. Depending on severity.

Worked great
I had never seen these until I came across them on Amazon (and I am a nurse). I found it to work really well to hold a wound closed when a friend didn’t get stitches when they should have!
