These lights are better than advertised! I found them extremely easy to use and they provide great lighting that added to the atmosphere I was trying to create. The battery life is outstanding as well. With so many color combinations you choose from, it’s the perfect light for any event.

The media could not be loaded. Edit (May 2024): The lights in the review video were programmed to peak to 50% max intensity. These uplights are very bright. I had to re-timecode this song to reduce brightness -- 100% was too bright for a small basement.*****I bought 2 of these uplights when they were about $139. Bought 2 more at $169. At $200 I said nope. But I bought 2 more for $135 over Thanksgiving weekend (2023). Now I have 6.Pros:*Powercon power connector.*Power in and out.*DMX in and out.*Mounting thread.*On/off switch.*Built-in battery.*Can operate while charging.*Very bright.*All metal.*Glass lens.Cons:*App is useless. DMX controller highly recommended.While this does have DMX ports, you don't need a DMX cable. Wireless DMX is built in. However, you can use the DMX-out to daisy-chain non-wireless fixtures without having to buy a wireless receiver.*****Edit 2 (May 2024): The daisy-chain from DMX-out from this wireless fixture to a wired DMX-in could have some undesirable side effects. I don't recommend doing this if you don't have to. It works, but I found some issues with the way the downstreambfixtures bahaved. So I bought wireless DMX dongles for my wired fixtures. Now everything behaves as expected.

One out of the 6 lights that i purchased has an issue. A part fell out, as seen in the photo. There is an issue with one of the lights, and the light is not charging.

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to charge the battery. No instructions in the user manual. When I plug the blue cable in nothing happens. I like the lights but if they never recharge they have a useful life of like a couple of weeks which is not good…..

I have several of these, both from this seller and others. This version is decent, but I cannot see myself buying more of these at the current pricing level. Too expensive for what they are. For a marginal increase I could have an ape lab product that is hands down MUCH better.

These lights are really very bright. It is worth it to illuminate any indoor space to take the right tone according to your decoration. I am a DJ and I use it for weddings and quinceañeras for lighting the different walls and decoration. I had a problem with 2 lights out of the 8 I purchased draining faster than the others. I thought they had been defective but I opened a case with the manufacturer and they told me what had happened. Apparently when I used the control to do a test on 2 lights, I set it to amber but in the custom color settings (the mode that drains the battery the fastest) the yellow color was at the value 255. When I changed to static color (which allows the battery to last longer with the colors) by having the color customized to 255, I don't know the reason but the charge discharged very quickly. What I did was go to static color and set the value to 0 for yellow. Then I tried the static colors and the battery worked perfectly with the same duration as the others. I hope this helps other people who purchase this light.
