I can't even list how many hundreds of these I've used over the years. This one is ok as they go, if a bit cheap and cheerful. First thing I noticed is the pressure needed to activate the final punchdown, it seems to be twice as much pressure as all others I've used, and to put that into perspective I currently have nearly forty genuine branded versions of these IDC tools in two workshops.It works ok though, punches down as they do and snips the ends. It's just that pressure, you can almost see the patch panel flex as you push with the pressure needed to get this tool to make the final click.Other than that, for less than six quid I guess you can't expect miracles.It also has the hook to unseat wires and the straight tool for unlocking and removing standard BT type krone strips.Overall for the price it's ok, but I don't think I'll use this one in any professional capacity.

Out of all the tools these are in my opinion most susceptible to breakage / damage, so I always like to have a spare. This is a standard Krone tool, with built in pull out hook and straight tool for ease of manipulating wires in confined spaces. The crimp down action of the main cutting blades is smooth and accurate resulting in a good termination of wires. Overall well priced and good quality Krone punch down tool.
