I’m not sure. They are stretchy so I believe they may be a combination of cotton and another material, possibly polyester.

Q: Would this headband work to wear at bedtime sleeping to cover your edges (temple area) and be soft enough for that area?

I have a weird shaped head and had to put Bobby pins to hold the sides. However they are very comfortable and could be worn to sleep in.

Q: will these cover my ears in cold weather?

they will, but they also slip off of your ears every like 15 minutes so I would probably just go with a winter headband. But if you don’t mind, then these are super cute!
