Fantastic product
I recently had major shoulder surgery and was not able to keep up with my shaded silver Persian. He was getting knots in his hair. I used the product and I am amazed that I don’t have to have him shaved. This stuff is amazing!!!

Didn’t work well for me & my cat!
I expected more! Thought it would work to detangle the fur of my long haired cat. Sad to say that it isn’t what I expected. I cannot see it making the detangling process better as it appears to be like using water. Maybe I received a bad bottle (?). but it didn’t work for my Rag doll breed cat at all.

Definitely worth trying
Mixed opinion on this. I would say it is worth a try on most cases. It seemed to be a nice smooth product for maintenance on shorter hair animals.I'm confident out would be great for upkeep and regular grooming. I have 2 cats that are 16 years old. Both have health issues involving sensitive skin and pain. One has long hair and the other is short hair, but his coat is very thick. So, one gets mats a lot and very easily. The other has bumps caused by cancer. So, in my opinion, it seems like a really nice quality product worth it's money. I just couldn't use it.

Helped with the mats, but poisoned my cat.
My geriatric long hair cat got some pretty bad mats this summer that brushing alone just couldn't handle. And no amount of treats would keep him occupied enough to shave them out.I was made aware of this product when someone recommended I use it to help get the mats out with the detangling brush and the furminator.Just like using detangling spray for a kid, right?Wrong. Toddlers don't go behind you and groom themselves with their tongue. Well... if they do their products are nontoxic. This could be a good product IF it didn't contain salicylic acid, also found in aspirin. Which is toxic to cats. They lack a liver enzyme to metabolize salicylates, which causes gastrointestinal upset. Including but not limited to vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.My poor old boy was up all night vomiting. At one point he started vomiting blood.PLEASE do not use this on your cats. Or dogs. Or toddlers for that matter, you never know if they will groom themself like a cat :DAdditional note: I did find an alternative recommended by a cat groomer online. You can use coconut oil to help alleviate discomfort while dematting. My cat still gets runny poops with too much coconut oil, but at least he won't be puking blood again.

This works! It really, really works!
My cat Hamlet is a long hair with a double coat. She gets big clumps near her rump, and doesn’t really like brushing. I used this spray as soon as it came in and got four large clumps out, after letting the spray sit for about a half hour. What a difference! I recommend it without reservation!

happy chonk chonk
it actually works! my chonky cat had some matted fur on his back, and brushing alone wasn’t helping. this softened the areas and using a bristle brush after a couple of minutes worked amazingly
