Of all the pieces of jewelry we wear, bracelets are most at risk of getting snagged by something. Twice I snagged a bracelet at work (I have a semi-active job), and twice, the attachment ring on my lobster clasp snapped like tissue paper. I went to this tiny but strong magnetic clasp, so the bracelet will now separate before it breaks any component. Magnetic clasps have drawbacks, but a lower chance of breaking my (and customers') bracelets outweighs them.I've done a stress test by wearing bracelets with these clasps at work (~8 hrs. total), and these clasps passed with flying colors. The one time the clasp separated (I was wiping down a steel shopping cart), I felt it separate immediately and reattached it quickly and easily.If you want to the finish to last, however, you *must* clearcoat these pieces, because they use cheap electroplating techniques. I used a well-known brand's clear enamel spray, in two coats, 30 min. apart.

If you are looking for a very strong jewelry/craft magnet this is for you!! They were a bit too big and way too strong for my project but I will use them on something. :)

I bought these magnetic clasps mainly to get the ones in copper. I understand from the description that the amount was randomly selected, but the silver clasps (43 out of 100) far outweigh the number of the other metals. I will certainly use the silver clasps, but it would have been nice to have a more even distribution.The magnetism is strong and will work well for jewelry. I also purchased another batch of magnetic clasps from Amazon that did not include copper, but were almost half the price for the same amount and just as strong. When I need more copper clasps, I will search specifically for that metal. I will not buy these clasps again because of the price and color distribution.

These are very strong clasps and not easily separated. Strong enough to use for making Jewlery.

These have taken a beating where other magnets gave up sending my bracelets everywhere. In this case these didn’t come apart easily marking them sturdy!

Did as described. For jewelry you must have a back up chain for unforseen passes through any magnetic items will cause loss of jewelry, thickness good very small, multi colors, will recommend

Some ladies don't have the dexterity to handle a lobster claw, insert or spring ring clasp. The magnetic closure works much better. Quick on and off. Strong enough for more beaded bracelets, necklaces and other crafty works.

Paid for 100 sets but when arrived was missing two halves and 3 hole setsUnfortunately I could not return since I needed them and their was no offer to send the ones missingOther than not getting all 100 sets it would of been a positive reveiw
