Description used the word crutches and should have said crutch meaning only one. Second, yes it is adjustable but only if you're only over 5'8"! Not for anyone shorter.

I'm 28 and need a walking stick and hated my standard black one. This one is much better and very pretty. After reading the reviews and seeing the problems with it falling, I just took the elasticated waist band off my old one and stuck it on this one so no falling down. It's very comfortable on my hand and supports the back of my arm too. Another bonus is this stick is quiet whereas my other one would make a sound every time it touched the ground. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a better looking stick/crutch. Perfect thanks

Good quality, and not as flimsy as they look on the photos.It's a pity they're only available as half cuff though as it's difficult to keep a hold of them when you're not walking or leaning. I bought a couple of walking stick wrist straps http://www.amazon.co.uk/Walking-Stick-Wrist-Strap-Corded/dp/B00185P5LU?ie=UTF8&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_34 to try to alleviate this problem, which makes it a bit better than it was, but still not ideal. You can send the crutches back to the company to have a Velcro adaption fitted on the front of the cuff to make it fit like a full cuff, but it's not cheap - for a pair, it will cost you £12 plus £3.30 p&p.Another niggle is the lack of a clip or strap to hold the crutch together when folded. A cheap and easy solution to that is a clip-on bicycle pump bracket, (the ones that hold the pump to the frame). These cost about £1 each and are just the job!Apart from the two design flaws detailed above, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. It's just a shame that I've had to be inventive to be able to use them!
