When it comes to straight metal products, it is hard to mess it up. So, this is considered a GREAT product from China. Well crafted and reliable. I stacked four 25 Lbs weight plates on with zero issues.CAP brand weight plates and CAP brand spring collars. All low cost and solid steel. Can't go wrong.I also ordered the CAP brand curl barbell (48 inches. NON-threaded).PS - Any chrome or metal surface handles for dealing with sweat need to be wiped down thoroghly afterwards. And once a week, use WD-40 or GUNK lubrication spray on the handle/grip. It sounds unsafe, but it isn't. Spray it on, and wipe it off. It coats the steel from oxidizing.
