Very nice flashlight
This flashlight is exactly what I was looking for. Very well made and feels good in your hand. I am new to flashlights with a UI. The Anduril 2 UI is very intuitive and easy to figure out. You won't be disappointed with this flashlight.

Great little 14500 light.
I have roughly 30 flashlights, from Surefire, to Fenix, to Wowtac, to Wurkkos. I am a flashlight freak. I live in rural Oregon and it is wine dark, it is loaded with things that bite, and it is raining and dark at 4 all winter. Sofirn has quickly become my favorite budget flashlight.I typically HATE flashlights with no rear clicky switch, but Sofirn has a tactile, easy to engage button that gives me no problems with thick gloves on. The pocket clip is reversible, sturdy and easy to access. Should be slightly difficult to slide on...or it doesn't work. This light is very bright and on lower settings, does not overheat. It has the Andruil 2.0 OS! Reeeee! The Andruil 2.0 OS is my favorite in any non-tactical platform. By a lot. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS if you're unfamiliar because your light does an incredible amount of things you think you'll never use but absolutely will. It has an LH351D emitter. The throw on this light is amazing and the brightness (plus other aspects) of light is fully adjustable. I use this as an edc backup and hat-bill-addition to a headlamp when feeding my chickens in the morning. For 25 bucks, you WILL NOT find a better backup light. This is also my shirt clip light in bed, just for you other flashlight-nut guys/girls out there. You have one too. We can be honest with each other here. They just don't understand us, but they'll see.I highly recommend you get the shiny colored option. Mine is red. You'll thank me the first time you set it down outside in semi-darkness while it's off. Like all red flashlights, the color will scuff and flake slightly, but people who use their light daily won't care. It's not indicative of shoddy craftsmanship, it's life. This light is well made. The battery is your typical midgrade, protected lithium cell. The mAh checks out within 9 units of advertising as well. Purse light, night light, backup edc, hat bill, yard scan, camping/tent light, this light is perfectly suited. Not gonna call it a tac light without the clicky switch, but it absolutely has the lumens otherwise. It's also priced where losing it in a campground after drinking will not be heartbreaking. I am utterly in love with it. Only issue I have is that it needs a secondary charger. I prefer that, but many don't have one. Mine came with one, so I'm assuming yours will too. A clicky switch would be nice with a turbo mode, but now I'm splitting hairs. Definitely recommend this light though.

Decent, but has negatives too.
the ui is what sold me, however some aspects of it like the lockout mode's momentary low (not moonlight!) not actally deploying ever again ((perhaps i should factory reset it??)) you might want to get a proper battery charger, or buy a 14500 that has its port built in for convenience. the battery doesn't need to be protected as andrul 2 has in-built voltage protection. (basically helps the battery stay rechargable) lastly, i *would* buy another flashlight (i love the convenience of AA compatibility) but andrul is too good and the benifits outweigh the negatives

Love this little flashlight
I grew up in the 70's and 80's flashlights back then were like a candle vs. a streetlight. They were functional ate batteries like no ones business and were minimally effective. Fast forward to the early 90's and in the military we were still using similar bulbs but somewhat better, krypton was the bees knees still no comparison to what we have now and they were expensive. Modern LED flashlights in comparison are wizardry not to mention many functions by simple button clicks between short, long between pushes. The documentation included with this flashlight is small I recommend using your fancy hand held computer to snap a photo and enlarge. This light is amazing. So much so I bought more than one. I love this flashlight and carry it in my inside coat pocket daily.

nice small and bright
This is lightweight, maybe too light because it can be easy to lose, and not know it.It is bright, I hardly ever need to use the top brightness, mediumish is usually enough. The battery that comes with it, seems to be pretty good. I ran it down to 3.55 volts and recharged it and it took 749 mah so it feels like it's rated properly. The clip is nice and terrible. I like how you can clip it in either direction, but it is so stiff it makes even clipping to the pants pocket a 2 hand job. I tried the baseball cap brim and it felt too top heavy and felt like I was going to stretch the clip and make it too loose for anything else. This is an EDC at work and gets used multiple times thru the day. Oh and sometimes you can turn it on accidentally when clipping it. There is a lockout feature to prevent that. Being a new user, I forget about it still.update: tried a eneloop in this light would not work at all, thought I read it would work with those.

Dead On Arrival
I received the flashlight today. It is DOA. Yes, I removed the internal nattery insulator disk. And I tried multiple known good batteries, Nothing.I’ve purchased several other Sofirn flashlights, and they are great. But not this one. I’ll be returning it to AmazonI’m very disappointed that I have to waste my time dealing with this.

Maybe my new favorite light
Almost 10 hour run time at 70 lumens on a high CRI emitter. Accepts AA batteries. Anduril UI. Includes a USB-C charger. Only gripe is no magnetic tail cap, and if I really gotta nit pick the clip is super tight. If it had a ~660nm red emitter and that magnetic tail cap it'd be 11/10.5 stars all day
