Install took me about 4 hours, including removing my old factory sunrider top - Simple tools required, and I installed it by myself aside from one or two steps. DEFINITELY need to install on a warm day, in the sun in order for it to fit easily on the first try. It fits tight, but I would be disappointed if it didn't. Couple parts of the install were tricky to do by myself and required an extra set of hands to help hold while I installed some of the screws. As far as the quality goes, I couldn't be happier. This is truly a PREMIUM quality soft top, the Twill fabric feels and looks luxurious. The tinted windows look great as well. The function of the glide windows is brilliant, there's no going back to zippers after you install this.The ONLY down side I can think of however - The windows, when removed, have stiff frames on some of the sides, and cannot be rolled into a window sleeve type carrier. I would not really want to carry the windows with me in the jeep (I have a 2-door jk). There isn't a good way to roll them, and they would take up a lot of space in the back of the jeep and be hard to protect from scratching. You have to commit to no windows if you venture out without them, otherwise, couldn't be happier with the top!A final note: I had a damaged part when my top arrived. I was able to install the top using this damaged part (Part of the header bar), but I called Bestop and mentioned the damaged part. They sent out a replacement right away with no questions. Great customer service from the manufacturer, so buy with confidence!! There's no better option for a stylish and super high quality soft top for your JK!

Purchased this top to replace my 5 year old factory soft top. This Twill top is an improvement in every regard. Looks so much better with the fast back and the true black of the twill. I have much less road noise. My wife immediately noticed how much quieter the jeep is with the top up and windows rolled up.The install was pretty straight forward. I would highly suggest reading up on it and watching some videos on youtube before beginning the install. The top is REALLY TIGHT when it's first installed. A warm day is highly recommended. Once the top has been installed a week or so it will loosen up and allow the windows to go off and on with ease. I have had this top a couple of months now and I am very happy with my purchase. It's pricey but I got what I paid for. Highly recommend.

I bought a 2013 Rubicon in 2021 with only 32k miles. It was taken care of, but I imagine it was mostly left in the Sun judging by the faded fenders and bumpers. The vinyl top was quite weathered and was leaking at the seams into my door surrounds. After a decent bit of research, I found this top to match my needs.Set up went about as expected. It took about 2.5-3 hours with two people, and after studying a set up video. I would definitely watch some installation videos to make the directions make more sense. The box it came in had many holes, not packaged very well. A metal piece was dented at the header, but I was able to bend it back in place. We set it all up on a sunny day and let all the materials get nice and warm. All three windows went in quite smoothly.The twill looks very nice. Haven’t experienced rain, but it is noticeably quieter than my factory top.KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR SCREWS… I had two extra screws by the end of it all.Overall I was happy with how the installation went. I will try to remember to update this review once I’ve put a few miles on it and have been through some rain storms.

Installation took time but the installation guide was accurate and along with the video, made the process a breeze. Operation of the top is easy and straight forward. We also have the JL version and a track for the frame is better on that version. This frame almost requires two people to put the top up from full convertible mode. The twill fabric is heavy and will hold up through all seasons. Over all this is a great product and well worth the investment!

I didn’t wanna do it, but I had to. I HAD to shell out the money for a complete soft top setup because my JK only came with a hard top. Great for winter and road noise, but not so much fun to take off and put back on by myself. I know that’s why most hard top owners never get theirs off; it’s cumbersome.I did a bunch of research and for my money, this twill Trektop NX Glide gives me exactly what I’m looking for: Versatility, Ease of Use, Durability, and features. I see the complaints about small leaks around the rear corners, but they must be getting caught in some monsoons. I’ve had mine on and all assembled/buttoned up for some pretty heavy rains and not had any problem with leaks. I can see how it could happen with wind blowing the right angle but so far I’m dry.The install was easy. Instructions were pretty good and I had an extra set of hands to put stuff in place. I took my time and went slowly through each step and finished in about 3.5 hours. Seemed reasonable to me.As for operation; it’s nearly perfect. It does take two to lay the top completely back just to prevent binding, but I can have the windows out in minutes and the sun rider panel back enjoying the sun. I did get the window storage bag too and am glad I did. I can reinstall the windows and close it all up if I see rain coming in less than five minutes by myself too. It’s a great design.

I love this top! Replaced a hard top on 2016 Jk. Freedom panels and not being able to run around with the back window open were my main reason to buy this. It is waterproof and no noisier than the hard top. It took three hours to install and yes it was very tight at the back window. No zippers are great! I did have a problem at the back window where the window attaches to the side windows at the tailgate. I contacted Bestop and Nick promptly shipped me two replacement windows! I did not expec that! This is not my first bestop product and Wo t be my last. I also bought window storage bag. Make sure you buy that it is necessary. Next buy is the retractable sunshade! Thank you bestop!
