Really pretty dress with great stretch for ease of movement and comfort. It is a pullover style with a front zipper at the neck to the seam below the right arm hole area. I ordered a small and the length was great but the rest of it was too big. I wish it came in XS; would definitely reorder it in this size if it did. For reference, I am 5'1", 120 lbs, athletic build.

I purchased this as a last minute outfit to wear for a Lunar New Year gathering. Based on comments, reviews, and suggestions, I got the size small. There was only 1 color choice left, which was the solid green, so I went ahead with it. I don’t know if it was because it's solid color and you can see my curves well, but I felt like it was too tight. My husband, who normally doesn’t have an opinion of what I wear, also said it looked a bit tight. I felt like I should have gotten a size medium. I'm 5'4 and about 115 pounds (I generally wear a size XS, 0 or 2P in most American clothing store – WHBM, Loft, etc etc). I didn't have time to order a size M prior to the gathering, so I ended wearing this dress with a long sweater over it to cover my behind.

Wears like a bodycon dress so snugs you in. Love the fit. Sexy but not revealing

I originally purchased the black version of this dress, but it arrived damaged so I had to send it back. When I placed a new order, I decided to try the Navy color instead. Soooo glad I did! I am 5’3, 120 lbs (I have a smaller waist, but really wide hips and a big butt) so I ordered a medium based on their measurement sizes. I probably could have ordered the small because it has a great deal of stretch to it. However, I absolutely LOVE this dress and the way it fits! I have always been very self conscious of my body and how my clothes fit, as I have had pretty bad cellulite in my legs and butt since I was young. But this was the first time in YEARS that I actually really liked the way I looked in something...let alone in a dress. The material is very soft, but it is not see through at all. The fact that I couldn’t see all my lumpy orange-peel skin through the material (considering it’s pretty form-fitting) was shocking! I very rarely leave reviews, but I felt the absolute need to, as I truly do recommend and love this dress!

Dress fit fine but the material wasn't cotton or cotton/poly.A 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend is pretty common and this feels like the 100% polyester you get from a Halloween costume. Maybe a good quality costume but still costume-y.The dress fit great. Fitted at the bust and a little looser in the waist. not as tight as a traditional qipao which is nice if you have a little bit of a tummy. For reference, I'm about 5'3 and 145lbs. I normally wear a size 12/L in dresses.Disappointed at the zipper along the collar bone instead of buttons or frogs.

The problem with most of these Chinese dresses is they typically have no stretch to them so they are unforgiving. Buy it too small and you won’t be able to sit down all night and if it’s too big, you’ll have no figure....go to Chinatown to find one and they typically won’t let you even try one on....This dress has stretch so it’s more forgiving to different shapes and sizes. I am 5’1”, 36D, 140 Lbs (size 6-8), with not much in the hip area (I got a Medium). The top fit fine, but it was a bit loose from the waist down. If I had time, I would have had it altered so it would be a bit more snug and slightly shorter at the bottom....but overall the dress was nice, comfortable and stretchy. I got lots of compliments and plan on wearing it as a summer dress now.
