I bought it for my little gangster on his second birthday. The penguin is very cute and it seems like he's got the new best friend! He even makes a funny penguin dance around while it's playing music. It gives us both a lot of laughs, earns me some precious time and keeps him is occupied.What sounds there are:- ABC letters- Words, starting with these letters- Spelling of the words- Shapes- Some songs- Quiz - it's asking for some random letters and the gangster should find it.He doesn't know the alphabet yet so I think it's a good toy to learn. We'll see.What is important - you can adjust the volume by pressing the button on the penguin leg, so it's not too disturbing.Overall, worth the money spent. Little gangster and brave penguin are friends forever!

I bought this toy, that teaches "ABCs," and counting. He is young, but very smart, so I'm hoping this will help him on his "learning" path.

Cute little toy. Battery door difficult to open and it arrived looking a bit used with scratches on the back. As I figure using it will result in looking worn, I'll ignore the appearance. My concern is the volume. It doed not get remotely loud. Now "quiet toys" have their place, so this will be dubbed a quiet toy with sound. I hope no one looses interest trying to hear their educational entertainment. FYI 3 AA batteries not included.

Update: I wrote my original review almost 2 years ago. Since then, I constantly receive emails from the seller asking if I want a refund. No, i don't want a refund... I want you to LEAVE ME ALONE. Stop emailing me. It's verging on harassment.Original email (still stands)Smaller than expected. Plus, I wasn't expecting the shape to resemble a plate. The on/off button on the right foot of the penguin is not ideal. My daughter keeps pressing it and not understanding why the rest of the buttons stop working. Limited songs and the accent on some of them are not what I was expecting.All in all, a bit disappointing.

These are excellent learning tools for small preschool children, a device they thoroughly enjoy spending hours with.

My review, I suppose, will be both good and bad....My button pushing girl was so excited that she stood by the front door clapping when she saw the Amazon truck pull up, and she promptly ripped the box apart to get to her new toy.Good: This toy is nothing but buttons, and each one does a different thing.Bad: It comes without batteries.Bad: The ON/OFF and VOLUME buttons are located on prime holding points. Every two minutes she was handing her toy to me to turn it back on for her. And...The volume control can go so low thst you can't really tell if the toy is on and working or not until you figure out that you need to tap the button several times in order to know if your toy has actually turned on or not.Good: This toy does so many things that my little girl did not want to put it down, until, of course, she inadvertently turned it off, every two minutes, when she handed it to me to "fix it".Bad: We got this toy late this afternoon, and as you can see in my pictures, the words on the buttons in the center, and the ON/OFF and VOLUME are already worn off to the point where they are unreadable after only a few hours of play.Good: My little girl can't read anyway, and will soon remember what each button does anyway, but still....Bad: For the price, this toy could use a bit of redesign.Good: For the price, this toy provides so much fun that my little wanted to take it to bed with her, so, in this Grammy's opinion, it was worth every penny.UPDATE: I was sent a replacement toy, that after one week, again has all of the writing worn off and no longer works, and, it appears, since they sent a replacement, I can not return the second toy, meaning that while the concept is great, the execution is pure junk. Expensive junk, at that.Save yourself the headaches and just don't buy this sub-standard toy.

This made the perfect Christmas gift for my 2yr old niece. She played with it for a long time. It is well made and perfect for little hands and minds. This was a last minute gift and they made sure it came before Christmas...THANK YOU!!!

This was ordered as a gift for my son. As soon as I took it out of the package the back was all scratched up. The battery compartment was a bit hard to open up. The volume is very low. And MUCH smaller than expected. Dont waste your money.

Es sind nicht sehr viele Lieder oder Aufgaben drauf.Und leider geht die Farbe der Bedienknöpfe an den verschiedensten Stellen ganz schnell ab

This is a great toy for toddlers. It’s really cute & teaches kids their ABC’s, plays songs which kids love, teaches kids some words to go with each letter. I love that it’s small & compact because it fits in a child’s small hands. It’s also a great toy to travel with. My granddaughter just loves it.

Articolo con 3 bollini made in China , non è conforme alla prescrizione....cercavo un gioco educativo x bimbi di 3 anni ma mi sa che è solo x bimbi che conoscono già e bene l'inglese...visto che di italiano non c'è nulla.....incomprensibile ciò che verbalizza il giochino.L'ho rispedito indietro.
