Arrived quickly. Strong and sturdy trap, easy to set and effective. Set each night in the same place (had to remove in day as they were in my chicken run) 4th morning that big rat was no more. I used chocolate under the hammer and put some grain on and around the trap. Trap is only triggered when the chocolate is moved as is triggered by the hammer lifting and not pressure. Bar of the trap is thick metal and it appears to have completely crushed the rats head so hopefully it was a fast dispatch.

Fantastic rat traps I have a family of rats living under my bird of prey aviaries so i cannot use poison but i know that one of my neighbours does .So I bought 2 of these traps and to date 5 rats caught but still more to go I found the best bait to use is liquorice allsorts as the trap bait with rolled oats as an attractant bait .But keep these traps out of the way of birds and pets as they are a very powerful trap.But best trap I have ever used

Unfortunately we occasionally have a problem with rats in our garden and recently saw a very large King rat so we needed to source a powerful, quick trap unlike some we've used in the past and although these are more expensive they are worth every penny. Within three days we have caught two rats including the King. The traps are very strong and OH had to set them as they were too hard for me. Quick and very powerful is exactly what was needed.

Excellent trap, worked within 12 hours of setting it, we used liquorice all sorts as suggested by other reviews on here. We had previously tried other baited traps and the little bugger had just eaten the bait and carried on its merry way. I would highly recommend these traps, they are a little pricey but definitely worth the money.

I’ve yet to catch anything, but they look and feel a very well made trap that’s up to doing the job.I’m happy with them.
