In an effort to truly be as Green as we can be, we do not use any plastic materials to line our bags. All of our bags are lined with un-dyed, unbleached organic cotton sateen. Not only does this help our environment by not contributing to the consumption of petroleum products, but you can also be sure that no dyes or harmful chemicals come in contact with your food. And we have recently redesigned our bags, getting rid of the velcro closures and instead using a fold-over design so there is NO plastic at all anywhere in our bags! They're really easy to open and close, too. Just flip the top one way to close, and flip it back the other way when you're ready to eat. Even small hands can manage just fine. You can use these bags for nearly any kind of food, even messy PB&J sandwiches! Just brush off the crumbs to use again tomorrow, or flip bags inside out and toss in the washing machine.
