I was really happy to see that there was a grip already out as soon as i purchased my 2DS XL. Even more glad to have received it even before the release of the system its self but when i got it my had that happiness turned it "eh its ok" I mean don't get me wrong it does the job in the sense that I am able to hold my 2DS XL comfortably as i play, but i would have liked to have the grip made of actual rubber. The comfort of knowing that brand new system would not just slip out so easy because the grip made of a smooth plastic. Also a major flaw with this grip is that when in use, the game and sd slot are covered so you have to remove the system each time that you want to change the game. This can be tedious if you have a collection of cartridges you like to play. As i mention before the grip is all plastic and quite slippery. I like the design and the kick stand in the back helps to set it down when you need to display. So in all this product it ok for the time and the price.

Fits perfectly and makes it so much more comfortable to play for extended periods of time. Great item and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 2DS XL grip.
