ABLAZE 1.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Vacuum Degassing Chamber and 3 CFM Single Stage Pump Kit

Works well. Came with a bottle of oil, no spills or leaking. I was alarmed at first when I turned it on and it began smoking! But after some reading found this is perfectly normal operation apparently. Be sure to fill and check your oil level. I've not had to add any, but have only used it a few days now. It does get pretty warm, I placed a fan blowing on the pump just for my own assurance. I've run it for several hours at a time with no issues. All in all, it's getting the job done and is a good price. I'd recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Okay so I’ve had this exactly one year now and I’ve figured out how to listen to the simple vacuum and turn projects from murky to CRYSTAL clear. The same pump, the same hose, the same valves, and the same ablaze silicone mat inside the chamber.Not enough products are reviewed for durability etc. This simply works well, and high quality thick glass and very durable gasket for an endless continued seal.After learning temperatures and objects inside cause the fluctuating max reading on the gauge, I was first concerned since I couldn’t bring it to full vacuum. Then I looked 5 mins later and the material had bubbles, degassing the BHO and then pulling a full vac. I’ve let it sit 72 hours and it was no change in pressure…

First thing out of the box, I had concerns. The pump was placed upside down in the form fitting Styrofoam box insert, meaning significant pressure had been applied to the pump to compress (and break) the insert in order to make the box close. The pump had oil all over it, including the cord, the switch, and the plastic wrapping. The silicone mat is too large for this particular pot. The valve handles are loose and flimsy. The instructions are brief, vague, and poorly translated to English. If you aren't familiar with de-gassing, you'll need to learn to use this unit from a source other than the information provided by the manufacturer. That being said, these devices are rather simple to use.Of note, the pump has no manufacturer name or country of origin labels or imprints that I can find, nor is this information on the internal packaging. There is a brand name on the pressure gauge on the pot lid and one on the silicone mat, but not on the pot itself as shown in the listing, nor on the internal packaging. The pot, it's components, and it's lid also do not list the country of origin. There is Asian text beneath the English product name on the outer box, further leaving me to wonder if this is in fact an imported product missing the required labeling.In spite of my concerns, after a good deal of cleaning up the messy oil, the unit did evacuate the air from a test batch of resin with impressive speed. It is yet to be seen if this product holds up to repeated use.

This product works just fine (i do extractions only).All of the bad reviews are most likely user error.1. Turn pump on and run for 20 seconds 2. Turn off, add extra oil (comes low) (order extra oil) 3.take the niple off the pressure gauge before using and put back when you're done. 4. (On the pressure device, turn blue and red handle to closed position 5.put product in the chamber 6. Seal it 7. Turn pump on and then after quickly open the red valve and leave in open position 8. Let run for 1-2 minutes tops at a time 9. Right before shutting off, CLOSE RED HANDLE 10. Then shut off device after 11. Leave product in chamber still pressurised, YOU DON'T NEED TO KEEP IT RUNNING FOR IT TO KEEP PULLING IMPURITIESOUT OF MATERIAL 11. Let sit for 10 minutes and do the same process over and over till products clean. 12. It is important to give the machine a break. If you do this, the oil won't need to be changed as often and you won't burn out the pump. Of course add a HEAT SOURCE below and try not to let the inside of the chamber reach over 100 degrees (get a thermometer and check). It will take longer but you'll have the best tasting product possible. After my last purge, I let leave it pressurised over night. Then... ENJOY (don't be dumb, make sure your sht is clean) no bubbles left and then flip and purge again. Be safe!

Originally I wouldnt of givin this product a good review because when It arrived it didnt work well at all! but thats completely my fault. looking at the motor for the vacuum I checked the oil level and it looked like it was on the Min line, so silly me thought "Ah must be good enough for a few uses then" but no I was completely wrong. This machine practically doesnt come with any oil in it at all. Buy the oil alongside the machine and she will purr like a kitten and suck the life out of anything you need it too. Been doing a great job at Degassing silicone for me and is just big enough for my uses.

I’m on my third set of this product and I have done everything humanly possible to maintain the motor in the pump very conscious of changing out oil and making sure it’s fresh and no matter what it does not last past one or two longer-term pressure stations. Fairly confident it’s not user error as I have done a tremendous amount of research thinking perhaps it was my mistake. Take that for what you will otherwise, the additional provided container and lid are very well-made and would highly recommend those perhaps separately.

Directions are straight forward and the video easy to follow. Works well. I am using for dice milds. I leave the mixing cup in the pot for about 30 minutes to de-gas, then pour into the molds.

This was my pandemic project. I experimented with resin and this got all the bubbles out. We even used it with marshmallows and the kids loved that. It was cheap and easy to assemble. Just remember to get oil for it or else you'll be in trouble.
