Updated Review: The seller has amazing service! Seriously. They stated these items may have been a bad batch which is understandable and they went over and beyond making it right. Since I had six more to open I attempted more ways of getting this open without damaging the product. So if you do find these lids to be tight or also get a bad batch here is my advice If you use your thumbs and put them as close as you can to the middle of the lid then move your fingers to both tabs and kind of pry with both hands as the same time you can get tight lids to release. Just don't pry too hard or try one tab at a time. Old review being left as an initial response to the product These containers look great and after getting them boy was I excited to load them up and put them in the fridge. After looking at the reviews how could you say anything other than these must be great for meal prep and the cost is just a little higher than competing products. We took two out of the fridge on Tuesday and I opened mine it was a bit tight but after some prying I got mine open. My boyfriend was a different story he pulled a bit to hard apparently and broke the lid. No problem we'll just be more careful next time. Next time, Wednesday we pulled out two more and tried our best to be careful but these are just ridiculous. You can not get them open without prying. I felt dumb, my boyfriend felt dumb. We still feel dumb but something like a food container should really be "dumb proof". Why are the lids so tight was it the cold from my fridge was it a bad batch of lids? I couldn't tell you and its definitely not inherently a terrible thing but definitely may want to skip this one if you're looking for something that'll last awhile.

They last for about 6 months with weekly use. I recycle them and buy more. Thumb tabs are a must have. So - recommend.

This is my second time purchasing these and I will only buy this brand. Very sturdy, holds up to repetitive use and microwaving. Easy to clean. Other brands similar in size are flimsy, thin and easily break. I do not have a dishwasher to testify on how they hold up to that, I only hand wash them.

They arrived sealed new. Both the containers and lids were difficult to separate! One of the containers lip was cracked and falling apart. The rest seemed okay. They didn’t feel flimsy. What you’d expect for the type of container they are! The reason I bought these is I was short on funds and these fit my budget honestly! I’ve placed some leftover taco soup within a few, put in the freezer. Upon checking the containers in the freezer, they work great! Weren’t hard to open and the food within kept how it should be! Watch out for damaged container bottoms if you buy them while separating! They really shouldn’t stack them into each other so tightly. That would help with the damage issues I think

These containers are nice and durable. I like that the lids actually snap on and stay on and no they arent tough to open. They are nice.

Perfect meal size for a hungry couple. While the lid allows extra height, some meals benefit from that others might not. A rice dish I could pile up to the lid size, whereas a sauce meal it can only fill the bottom half…..if that makes sense. I still managed to make 9 meals for my family expecting their second baby to help them thru the first weeks
