Revell 07708 '65 Shelby Cobra 427 1:24 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit

I bought this when I had a week off work. a few hours a day and it was done - a nice challenge, love the details and the build quality - maybe it shouldn't be your very first model kit but it's not super advanced either

Easy step by step instructions, looks great once done and painted goes well with my collection of model cars

Good and accurate Revell kit. The engine is moderately detailed and all the chrome pieces are already chrome-like. I suspect the tires are way smaller than the original, but that's ok. The detail is good enough, and the go-faster stripes are decals.

Made a great gift for my father, it's very detailed, once painted it looks amazing! It's not the easiest thing to assemble but that part of the fun. The detail in the model is great.

Not built a kit for a while and thought I'd give it another go. Didn't find it too challenging but some parts were small and fiddly. The smaller transfers kept disappearing until I found them stuck to my fingers later. As in other reviews I decided to glue the wheels but I'm not going to play with it its just a static model. All in all I'm satisfied with the result and looking to buy another kit. If you're not willing to get a little frustrated or you've never built one of these before dont buy it, otherwise take your time with it and have fun.

This model was delivered by DPD and it was well battered but luckily the main products seem to be ok

Kit includes the traditional Ford 289 small block. Full box frame. Seperate hood and trunk. Finned oil pan. There are traditional Shelby wheels (as show on the box) that are chrome (on the outside piece). Chrome valve covers. Four carb (Weslake?) intake setup. There is a half "canvas" type cover for the interior. Vinyl tires with Goodyear molded into them. The decal sheet provides dash gauges, roundels with the # 98, and 5-point seat belts. This looks to be a good kit with plenty of small but detailed parts. The car looks small but that's the way they were compared to the later (and much larger) 427 AC Cobras, but this will make a fine addition to my Cobra model collection once built.
