Unit is nice. Delivery has been a nightmare!
Well delivery is terrible; One arrived broken, the second got lost in shipment. Amazon eventually got me a replacement but it took over a month. The broken one (bad expansion slot) is being replaced by APC (these units cannot be returned to Amazon because of the batteries). On the bright side, APC's customer service is good if a bit slow sometimes. If I considered delivery in my rating, this would be a one star review. But that would be a disservice to the product. The good (the SRT1500xla is awesome):-Huge capacity. Powers my workstation, monitors, switch, entertainment center and more for 1h+.-Pristine power. On line power or battery, the SRT is always generating perfect sine wave power.-HID compliant. Just plug it in to your Windows or most Linux systems and PO shutdowns are automatic.-Optional network cards for remote administration available. Not as happy with these but that's a different review ...The bad:-Expensive. But so is replacing your electronics and rebuilding your cyber-life from scratch.-HEAVY!! Lift with your knees. Better yet get someone else to move it!-A little noisy. Because the SRT is active all the time, it has some fan noise.

Solved my problem with minor power fluctuations causing my internet to reset.
I live in a rural area and I had a problem with my internet connection going out and coming back on. You could not tell there were any problems with power fluctuations. Thru process of eliminations I found out I had an extremely sensitive piece of equipment in my rack. After installing this in the rack not only do I now have steady internet connection but even when the power goes out in a storm I keep internet as the generator kicks in. So it’s seamless connection even when the power really goes out. Totally worth it. Easy to setup. I am no computer wizard (professionals setup my rack) but I was able to install this myself. I.ve had it for several months now and never had a problem with it yet.

Great to have with a generator
Had a generator installed and didn't want any dirty power getting to my expensive electronics. Using a double conversion online UPS like this one works great at keeping the voltage and sine wave steady. Worked so well I bought two.

Easy install
Had to replace my last one. It was 5 yrs old. This one seems slightly heavier. Easy to put everything together.

Software and documentation leave much to be desired
Reasonable product once you get it working but the software and documentation are not the greatest. Documentation is really poorly laid out with no real focused setup section whatsoever. Updating software is kludgy and clearly APC should get some help with usability. Unit works great once you wrangle the hours it takes figuring out how to get it to do basic things like gracefully shut down a server. Not super impressed with my experience speaking to support. Sales was unable to point me to a reseller who actually followed up on anything. Not super impressed so far...

"Online" is a special type of UPS. This is not for everyone.
Please be aware this is an "ONLINE" as opposed to "line interactive" UPS. In most cases a "line interactive" UPS is going to be ideal. APC has an application note detailing this. In North America this would possibly be good only for running on very dirty generator power. An Online UPS is always converting AC->DC->AC. I thought this might be a good solution for power conditioning in Costa Rica where the grid is extremely dirty. I put my electronics on it, and a couple of my house lighting circuits. Unfortunately the "sine wave" output is apparently less sinusoidal than my input power because it caused the lights to flicker when dimmed. So I can't use it in the normally "online" mode. The is a "bypass" and also a "green" mode (the differences between these are not clear). Using the Green Mode solves my flickering problem (because I'm using grid power when available) but unfortunately does not allow me to set the tight voltage tolerance that I want. The setting range is limited to a wide tolerance band.I knew that I was getting an "online" UPS but I think my application would have worked better on a "line interactive" type. The converted output is just not clean enough. It doesn't handle a triac-dimmed load.Should be ok for servers but I would still suggest a "line interactive" type unless you are really sure you need something different.

Response time is impeccable
at almost 45 days after delivery, the control unit malfunctioned. I reached out to the customer service team and their sense of urgency and response time was second to none. They gave me a full refund and i was pleased with the service provided. I will recommend them going forward because i will patronize them again.

So far so good no complaints
It's only been working couple of months now but so far so good if it changes I'll get back and rewrite this review and we did have some power outages and we were able to turn off our computers normally instead of having them just crash when the power goes out so that's a positive thing
