Killed nothing
Sent back as didn’t kill anything, plus the battery didn’t last long

Good mosquito killer
This has turned out better than I expected. It does attract and kill mosquitoes (it won't kill anything much larger so be careful if that's your purpose). It's easy to use, with a USB charger, doesn't make a noise and doesn't smell so you can sleep with it on. The one disadvantage is that you have to buy refill pads but it's still a good product at a reasonable price in my evaluation.

Neat little machine. A little big to be really portable.
This is a neat machine. It is rechargeable with the included USB cable so doesn’t need batteries of anything. You turn it on with a long press of the button and the blue light glows to attract the bugs and then a further short press turns on the electricity to the zapper cage around the light. Another short press turns the thing off again.I like that the digital display shows a count of how many shocks have been given since you turned it on so you can wake up in the morning and see the count with a sense of grim satisfaction. I can remember many camping holidays in the South of France where one of these wold be useful instead of having to chase the mosquito around the tent with you shoe in the morning - only to see a smear of your own blood where you finally squished it!It does have replaceable accessories, like sticky pads to go on the bottom to catch and trap the dead bugs when they fall - you get 5 of these in the pack. It will make it easier to clean out after use but probably not the end of the world if you run out. There’s also a a little cartridge that emits a scent that is, apparently, enticing to mosquitoes - it must smell like unsuspecting sleeping humans! They suggest you replace this every couple of weeks (I haven’t investigated how much it costs to buy replacements) but it does also say the machine will still attract and kill bugs without it.I can see this being an invaluable machine to have in your hotel room, tent or camper van on holiday. My only reservation is that it is a little bulky. Pack it on your car or camper van, maybe even in one of your suitcases but if, as we were in France, you were backpacking and travelling light, I think this would take up quite a lot of space in a rucksack.

Works well but only for smaller flies
The spaces between each plastic grate is rather small and only lets really small flies through.Other than that, it works really well!

Decent Mosquito Zapper
A fairly large bug zapper that connects via a USB-C cable. In use it's fairly quite and gives off a slight glow, making it suitable for use in a bedroom. The zapper is easy to setup and just requires a sticky pad (A few are supplied) being stuck in the base and the capsule of liquid pricked and placed inside the compartment at the top.It does work, as after a few days the bottom was full of dead insects, some of the mosquitos (We have a stream at the back of our garden and quite often in summer get mosquitos buzzing around the house.)- Easy to setup- Quiet in use- The light isn't too bright- suitable for bedroom use- no smells from the liquid used to attract insects and no loud 'zapping'

Quite large
The media could not be loaded. I get quite a few tiny black flies hanging around my plants and I thought this would be the thing to sort it out.I was disappointed it didn’t come with instructions- it was only my chance that when picking it up I heard a rattling inside and described to explore unscrewing the bottom- this is where the sticky fly paper goes I believe (but then again, no instructions). Peel off the wax paper and place the sticky circle face up, then screw back together. It came with a usb-c charger which is convenient but the cable isn’t very long so I was a bit worried it wouldn’t reach to wear i wanted it. After an hour charging I decided to unplug it and was happily surprised it had a rechargeable battery so didn’t have to be plugged in all the time. There is one large button for on/off (long press) and a useful foldaway handle to carry it about. The fly catcher itself is large (bigger than my plant pots) so it’s hard to hide. Do be aware it is quite noisy (similar to a laptop fan). The light isn’t particularly bright during the day and I haven’t seen it catch any flies yet (only had it 2 days though)- so we’re yet to see how effective it is.In conclusion I’m not quite sure about this one yet. I like that it has fly paper and some handy tools for cleaning. I also like that it is rechargeable. What I’m not so keen on is the size, noise, and lack of instructions.

Didn't catch any of our bugs or mosquitoes
Unfortunately this didn't work for us, we used it every night in the summer where we seemed to have a lot more mosquitoes and bugs than normal and it didn't attract single one. Not sure if we received a faulty one but unfortunately this did not work for us.

Bug zapper countdown
This is quite a weighty bug zapper, tall too. It is rechargeable via USB-C which makes it portable for say al fresco summer evenings where it sort of doubles as a table lamp or could be hung from a parasol. It does work because I’ve heard the crackles and seen the death count go up on the display. It’s a bit like the old Covid daily numbers and is to “enhance the fun for your boring life” apparently. Thanks for that bug zapper manufacturers with obviously very exciting lives, one star knocked off.
