Nexcare Waterproof Cushioned Bandages, Knee & Elbow, 2 x 4 in, 8 Count

I am almost 24 hours into my first use of the bandage. I even showered with it on a few minutes after application! It is really sticking well, truly flexible and waterproof (and hasn’t come off like some other ones I have used before. My wound from a baking burn is truly protected. I appreciate that it works and works well!

I’ve been having a lot of Mohs procedures unfortunately, paying the price for tanning in my younger years, but I’m sensitive to bandages and many stick too hard and are hard to get off and hurt! These are perfect, stay on well, are waterproof and no problem taking them off!

These work great as far as keep water out, painful to take off but keeps wound protected.

These cushioned Band-Aids stick well to the skin. But they are not 100% waterproof. I applied one to the bottom of my foot. And even during my shower and getting out of the shower. The Band-Aid was still attached. But the Band-Aid was completely soaked. My purpose in buying this was not for the waterproof capabilities completely. Because I know no matter how much you tape up, or secure with Band-Aids. Water has a tendency to get in. So that being said, my purpose was for this Band-Aid to act like a cushion for the bottom of my foot. That I had a procedure on, and I'm still in this healing stage still. And I needed a little extra cushion applied to the bottom of my foot. While wearing rubber thongs in the shower. The size of the Band-Aid worked well and has a good perimeter around the sterile piece of material one might say gauze. It's all good, I will buy more of these Band-Aids as needed for my purposes in regards to my foot. I'm confident to say that if this Band-Aid is used as just a Band-Aid. It would works well.

I like the size and comfort of these bandages. They work especially well for toddler knees.

I have mixed feelings. These are nothing like the other Nexcare bandages I've used. While the one I tried did stick on, once it came off all the sticky was gone. Absolutely gone. Was it waterproof? I think so, because it has adhesive on all four sides, but more on two sides than the other two. Would it make a good knee bandage? IF it stays on under clothing. It's unclear to me whether it would or not. You cannot see anything through it to see if the wound is still bleeding and you cannot remove and replace the bandage.

I'm not pleased with the packing at all! it is damaged. the packets are delicate and need to be warped with bubble wrap.
