GUDA DRUM Freezbee Morningstar with Rope Decoration and Travel Bag. Best Pan drum

I love this drum...it is light, sounds great and and it takes no special knowledge to play. Because it came from the Ukraine, it took a while to get through all the customs, but it was worth the wait. Would buy again.

I'm really happy with this pan drum. It is the second one in my collection, my first one was the Zenko Equinox. This one is a bit larger and I love the full tone you get with both of these. For me having quite large hands, its size also makes playing easier for me. The drum is well manufactured and I didn't find any issues like sharp edges. I was able to play it right out of the box!The travel bag is also a nice asset which looks cool and has enough space to easily fit in the drum and other accessories. The drum itself looks absolutely great with its dark color and bright pattern, and the rope adds a nice contrast. Apparently the pattern is hand-made and one can see some small imperfections upon close inspection, but I like this more than machine-produced perfection.Playing the drum is a lot of fun and requires only minimal training to produce some beautiful and relaxing tunes. The tongues produce a nice, long sustain and don't sound thin or tinny. The arcane tuning is great to play and very enjoyable.The seller was also able to help me quickly when I found a small issue with tracking my package. I'm happy with my order and I would buy this drum again if I had to!

The Guda Freezbee is lovely-sounding and seems to be a very good quality instrument. For those who want to learn more about playing it the Guda site has some YouTube tutorials. My only slight disappointment with the drum is that its sound is softer than it appears in the YouTube demos, especially when played by hand. I hadn't realized that in all of the YouTube demos there is some sort of amplification. I still prefer playing by hand rather than using mallets (it is a bit louder when played with the mallets). It has a meditative, relaxing sound, so to many people the fact that it's not very loud may not be an issue. I'm enjoying it.

I am so pleased with my drum! It plays so beautifully. I am already saving up for second one. I can't stop playing this drum! I use my hands, mostly. You can purchase on Amazon those rubber things to put over your fingers. I used those sometimes too, but I put the bumpy part on the outside. That is just to give my fingers more support. I can't say enough about the quality, the craftsmanship, and the outstanding tone. I took out my tuner and it was in perfect tune. Thank you, Guda!
