These connectors will slow your broadband speeds by about 30%
Long story short: This item WILL cut down your broadband speeds by about 30%. For more details, read on:My main reason for buying this item was to make the most out of the limited space I have in my apartment, and I thought that this little device would allow me to put my dresser closer to the wall. In that one respect, this device succeeded. However, I ask you: is that work cutting your speed performance by almost a third?! Definitely not. Before installing these, I made sure to test my internet speed before using this connector, and I was easily getting 120 to 125 Mbps with Comcast internet. After using the connector, I was only getting 80 to 85 Mbps. That's a very significant decrease! So I tried a different brand of connector, thinking that maybe the manufacturer was the problem. For the record, I purchased and used both this item as well as the one by MediaBridge, which you can find here: Mediabridge F-Type Right Angle Adapter - Gold Plated - 90° Female to Male Connector - 5 Pack - (Part# CONN-F81G-RA-5 ) . Both items performed equally as bad. And before anyone asks, yes, I tried multiples of each. It has nothing to do with the build quality or craftsmanship. This kind of signal degradation just seems to be inherent when using a connector of this type.My suggestion to you: Do NOT buy this connector, or any others like it. In absolutely no circumstance is it worth cutting your internet speeds by around 30% just to save one inch of space. Just buy some drywall / coaxial staples for $3 a pack, and save some space that way. It won't impede your broadband speeds, and it's easier to do anyway. You've been warned.

No drops in speed / signal quality.
I have read many reviews that people have lost some bandwidth speed when they added this adapter to the line. In my professional experience, this will happen eventually if enough junctions / splits happen for any signal depending on the overall strength of that signal to your home to begin with.I did a speed test before and after to compare, they were within margin of error. I can't speak for anyone else's personal opinion on this adapter but for me it works out excellent. My use case: So I can put an Ikea Billy Bookcase on the wall covering the outlet. It works awesome !

It works!
I try to avoid multiple connections to A/V equipment, but this one Sony TV has the coax input not pointing rearward from the TV, but downward in a recess in the back cover. You have to try to bend the stupid cable and thread the coax fitting on and it is a real PITA to connect or disconnect. I finally caved and picked one of these up so I could have the coax connector pointing rearward (or more accurately at a slight angle) and it having to do periodic disconnecting of that cable is no problem. The connector seems to be decent enough construction and there's not difference in picture quality or anything, so I'm happy.

Unusable and bad design
When I went to connect my TV antenna cable to one of these 90 degree connectors, the threads did not engage because the inner conductor wire in the cable would not fully seat (Picture 1). On closer inspection, the depth (where the conductor wire seats) is very shallow. I used a piece of wire to measure the seating depth; as shown in Picture 2 looking at the blue mark or arrow, one can see that it is significantly more shallow on this product (gold connector) compared to one purchased elsewhere (silver connector). The cable could easily connect to the silver connector (Picture 3).Consequently, this product is unusable with normal cables. Its design is such that there is no sleeve usually present to allow contact and make a reliable connection. Rather, there is a small insulation collar and then a metal plate that the conductor wire must precisely touch/mate against. Anything deviation, such as a variation in the length of the connector wire, number of turns to tighten and even repetitive use would lead to a poor or no connection at all. There are considerable negative reviews here complaining about this product and this may be the root cause. If you use this connector, be prepared to purchase matching cheap coaxial products from the same manufacturer/vendor. It will not work with those purchased from audio or higher quality electronic stores.I purchased three thinking that they could be used on my other TVs. I plan on returning them. The rating should be zero stars!

Allows Furniture Closer to Wall
I bought this right-angle connector to let me push a piece of furniture close to a wall with a coaxial cable connection in it. The connector swings freely once it is screwed in, which is nice. I'd read from another review that it might reduce my signal strength by 33%, a loss I thought would be acceptable for my application.I don't have a way of measuring coaxial signal strength directly, but the connection I used it on was for a MOCA adapter, so I used internet speed as a proxy. Prior to using the right-angle connection, my internet averaged about 495 mbps over three speed tests. After installing the right-angle connector, I measured it at about 400 mbps over three tests, indirectly indicating a decrease of about 20%, which was more than acceptable for my application (a streaming box with an ethernet port that maxes out at 100 mbps).

I don't think it is good.
It is good idea to have 90degree band if you have something against the wall. I have sofa so I don't want to bend wire so I bought it. Now a days I feel I have got slow internet and Yesterday I remove it and use wire direct and I found internet got speed so I don't think the quality of the material is good. I still need 90degree band. I will try one more time with different brand.

Totally worth it
This thing is so worth the few dollars it cost. I did need to use a wrench to install it…it kept sticking a bit by hand. But it just looks clean and reduces strain on the cable. My living room is oriented in a way that makes it difficult to put the entertainment center (with my modem) right next to the connection. So I have to run the cable in plain sight along the wall. This made it much easier to hide and far less distracting. I ran a series of 3 speed tests 15 mins before and 15 mins after installation and they were the same. I had no degradation with this connector. At just a few bucks, I figure it’s worth it to check if this setup works for you.

It did the Trick!
Well I must say this part saved me. My LG TV in the rear had the CATV female connection downwards. Most TV companies have the terminals forward facing the wall mine was downward. Cant understand why LG made that model that way. Making a male connection was a hassle until I found out of this item. The F Type connector . It did the job. Now I can connect the cable straight in not from underneath . A good buy I must say. If any body has that issue connecting from below I do recommend this item. Conclusion, always connect forward not below!

Perfect for low profile TV wall mounts
I must for any wall mount TV. I bought a new 32in TV and wanted to wall mount, but strangely enough, the TV had the antenna connector straight out the back (instead of side, as most TV`s have), and I have a heavy size 6 outdoor rated cable attaching directly to the TV, simply would not work with any wall mount bracket. This little right angle adapter is great, attached to the TV and was able to mount with a low profile wall mount, with the cable flat against the back of the TV.

Worked well for a while. Then signal strength dropped on my modem after about 2 weeks of use, removed connector to test issue, and signal strength was back to 100%. Tested the unit and it appears to be faulty, might have been just my unit, but that's what I'm basing this review on.

Great quality. Artwork slips fright over it.

Allowed me to push my TV flush against the wall, as the over the air antenna input prevented me from getting it really snug. Works well without any degradation to the signal.
