Great pick
I have found this accurate and consistent, quite pleased with it.

Beware read and look carefully.
A decent digitized ruler (resolution) rather than an inexpensive caliper. Nothing hidden, the description and pictures show and tell all in the feature set. The main issue for me, a resolution of .01 of an inch. That is quite a range you can get more accurate reading with a steel rule as unlike a rule you have no optical way to see if it is + or - that .01".Like a normal caliper it does offer 4 way measurement, so if your requirements are typically +/- a 1/64 (.015) this should be a very good solution. If however you need to sort out machine parts say metric screws mixed with US standard this simply isn't much help. The plastic used seems to be a tough ballistic type as claimed, also very light.A handy device if you need quick measurements in its resolution envelope.

inexpensive enough to have one in every tool box and on every workbench in the shop
With all the drills and fasteners in my workshop, I always seem to be grabbing the wrong size. Using trial and error, I sometimes go back and forth between the project and the tool box a half dozen times. You'd think I'd learn a lesson. Well I did. My grandfather always had a machinist's scale in his shop coat pocket. i have yet to start wearing shop coats and pocket protectors. I like to keep my high quality measuring tools clean and organized, so my scales, dial calipers and mics aren't near and handy to my regular mechanics tools. Hence why this composite caliper works so well. It is inexpensive and doesn't look like NASA M&TE. I can leave it sitting on a workbench or in a tool roll without getting the feeling that the 8 generations of grandfathers before me are rolling over in their graves.A quick check against other calipers says this set is accurate enough for sizing a drill bit or wrench. The composite construction takes away worries about surface rust if I leave it out in the humidity. It has a thumb slide instead of a thumb wheel and doesn't have a lock. But hey, I've got the fancy tools if I need to measure something that close.Last night I needed to drill out a rivet, and got the right size bit the first time. Win!

Easy to use and easy to read.
The media could not be loaded. A great inexpensive Caliper. Easy to use and easy to read.

Caliper works well, has a few minor flaws.
I have owned this caliper for just over 3 years. I have used it many times and find it a very useful tool! Minor flaws: I thought that the electronic LCD display had partially failed making it difficult to interpret the reading is on display. This problem was remedied by putting in a new battery (there is no low battery warning). FYI there is also a physical display that can be used. Another minor complaint I have is with the battery cover. I find that when using the caliper I often inadvertently pull the battery cover off which results in dumping the battery out and shutting off the display. I have tried to solve this problem by putting tape over the battery compartment cover. In photo note partial display (means low battery). Also note tape over battery compartment cover.

Cheap platic tool, turns off and on
I have been using this for a while and since the very beginning it turns off and on when using. Not accurate enough, only gives you one decimal point, kind of flimsy. Will definitely buy a better one. Not useful, it fails always at the wrong time. Also the battery cover cones off when using the tool. I wasted my money. Disappointed, do your self a favor, get something better.

Easy to use and cheap.
Great for the price. But It feels like it's gonna break easily. Especially since I think it's plastic and not what was said in the description of the item. But for the price it's all good.

Not precise in sub-5mm range
Don't buy this to measure the thickness of the item, it is very imprecise. The precision in sub 5mm range is 0.4-0.5mm. You can take subsequent measurements of the same item and you'll see the difference of up to 0.5mm between attempts. However, if measuring items over 10mm in size, the precision is about 0.1 mm.

Affordable little measurement tool
If you are looking for a high-end, high-precision metal calliper, this isn't what you are after. It's lightweight and made of plastic. With that said, however, for my purposes, it has been a surprisingly satisfying purchase. It is very handy, providing fast readings (just opening up the callipers instantly turns on the digital display - it also auto turns off after 5 minutes) and delivers enough accuracy for my needs (to the 10th on mm and to the 100th for inches). The fact that it is inexpensive has been unexpectedly liberating... I don't worry about dinging it, breaking it, or even getting it lost. Time will tell if this is a durable product, but so far so good.

Cheap quality - limited precision
The caliper itself works as a fairly basic digital measurement tool, however the lack of a lock or fine control in addition to limited accuracy of the readout leaves it to be quite under-whelming.The caliper itself is light and appears to be fully plastic (or carbon fiber integrated, as to where I have no clue). Expected for price range, however a large amount of reviews for this appear to be misleading to think your getting a solid product, would recemmend searching for a quality brand name caliper, your future builds and measurements will thank you.As for this guy, although I'm returning it - I'm sure you could use it as the sacrificial cheapo if you have shared tools/etc.

It's plastic!
At first I was somewhat disappointed to find out that the caliper is plastic, not metal. But the plastic looks and feels very tough, and given the price I think it's Ok. I use the instrument to measure when creating 3D printed models, and the accuracy is sufficient for the purpose. Just use it carefully (well, you are supposed to handle any high-precision instrument with due care), and it will do the job.Just remember to reset it to zero every time! Because when you extend the caliper it immediately powers up, but the digits do not always correspond to the properly zeroed reading! You may not notice it until you close the caliper and see that it shows, for example, 5.4mm instead of 0.0. Close it, reset to zero, then use it as usual.

Some flex and slop in the assembly. Precision is good enough, but not as good as metal calipers.
Plastic isn't a particularly good material for calipers- it flexes. These ones will flex a fair bit, so be extremely careful to apply as little pressure as you need, especially for sub-mm measurements. Press too hard, and the jaws will bend.Speaking of which, the jaws are not heavy-duty. There's some flash around the mold lines that easily breaks off, which means that the rest of the jaws will be just as happy to chip if you use it on hard materials. Also, the two halves of the assembly don't fit exactly well together. There's a tiny amount of slop. The depth gauge also doesn't sit flush with the end, so it's not accurate at all. Finally there are no rollers of any sort- everything is held together with friction. That said, the accuracy (excepting the depth gauge) is acceptable once you get used to its characteristics. Be gentle with pressure and check the zero every time. One good thing is that it's much lighter than metal calipers, and easier to carry around. Also it's a nonconductive material, and you don't need to worry as much about scratching soft materials with it.If you need the precision, this isn't a good caliper for it. A good metal caliper will be much more precise. However this set is good *enough* for my uses, and it's easy to carry around and doesn't mark my work pieces. Both have their uses.
