easy to use and very helpful to steady a senior while walking. have used the belt to assist senior to stand. great with all of handles that provide somewhere to hold unlike a normal gait belt that is just a strap.

I ordered this for my friend who is temporarily in a wheelchair. This belt allows the caregiver to get her out of the wheelchair easily. This belt works beautifully and she is very happy with it.

Nice and sturdy. Has 6 handles which makes it easy to maneuver the patient. Much better than the plain flat gate belt. Great for a smaller size caregiver.

This is exact what I need. I used as a safety grap belt for senior who is not very stable on walking. I did not use this gait belt for transfering, but for extra support when walking with the walker. It works great.

I originally ordered just one & two months later, ordered a second. This way there was no waiting for it to dry after washing. Today, after more than a year of daily use between the two, i am ordering a third. The metal clamp at the edge came off. Love the multiple handles, i can grab anywhere across the back to secure my husband. Various medical professionals and therapists have commented on how well it is made. Unfortunately, I have had to pick him up after he tried to do things on his own. I cannot begin to tell you how many times this belt has prevented other falls.

Seems like a good idea but cumbersome to use for caregiver and patient

As a CNA with over 10 years experience, this gait belt is fantastic. The belt secures nicely around the individual and the handles are well placed. The material is durable and stitched well. I would recommend this gait belt to use in assist-lift transfers and other bodily maneuvers.
