Vet 10 Pet Urine Reagent Strips for Dogs Cats, 10 Panel (25 Strips) Tests Pets for UTIs, Diabetes, Kidney and Liver Disease

I bought these a while back but hadn't used them until recently. They're easy to use and help me to take better care of my diabetic kitty and my kitty with cystitis/bladder crystals.Overall, the BEST thing we can do for our fur babies with bladder issues is to add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to their wet food. It may seem like a lot of water but it is for the best. Just titrate up the amount of water. Start with adding a teaspoon. With classic/pate food I drizzle the water over the wet food. Some of my kitties will let me serve pate food mixed with water till its soupy. Wet food should always be served to cats and NEVER dry kibbles. Only as a once in a while treat. Dry food dries out their kidneys over time and as they age they're more likely to develop chronic kidney disease. Cats get 85 to 90% of their moisture from their prey. Their mouths aren't designed to be effective drinkers. Anway, sorry to ramble. But, ever since my poor baby had a bladder emergency I've learned a lot. He had been on a primarily wet food diet with dry food left out over night and that little bit could have been what caused the $1350 vet emergency.So, I definitely recommend using this product in conjunction with an all wet food diet with added water. Not tap water. Use either filtered, distilled or spring water. With the latter being traded off with one of the others.

Great product. I was a little worried about some 9f the negative reviews, but needed to know the pH of my dog's urine. Followed the directions exactly and read the results at one minute. Everything lined up with what my vet was seeing and had tested. I am using this to see the effects of his food on the pH of his urine to maintain it at the normal level. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I bought these strips and they arrived today. My idea was to test my dogs urine rather than go to the vet. I didn't think she had a UTI and my husband did. I took her to the vet just to make sure, but I was waffling about canceling. I'm so glad that I didn't cancel. The vet found blood and leukocytes that she said indicated a UTI. When I got home from the vet visit, the strips had arrived. I figured I would test the urine to compare, and the strips showed the leukocytes as "negative" and no blood in the urine. Also, the specific gravity was 1.010 at the vets, and 1.040 on the strip. I realize that one can vary, but no excuse for the "negative" tests. If I had only relied on these strips, my dog would not have been taken to the vet and treated for a UTI. Those are REALLLY painful, so this company should be out of business. They are doing our pets a huge disservice. I followed the instructions and used my i-phone to set the time as a "stopwatch", once for the main test and another time set for the leukocytes. If you love your pets, take them to the vet!

I bought these strips to test my dog for a UTI. I really didn't want to pay for a vet visit if I didn't have to. Everything was normal so I knew she was peeing in the house because she didn't want to go out in the rain. The hardest part of this is actually catching the urine while the dog is trying to get away from you.

Only thing I can use on a sensitive Dog that will not let me take his Blood Sugar with a Diabetes test kit.Been using this sort of test strip for a long time with my Dog having Diabetes for 6 years .He is now 17 years old and my Vet told me I'm doing an excellent job of keeping my Oscar alive

Ph does not correspond to any colors. Called confirm bioscience company and she said to just use one it was closest to? Doesn’t inspire confidence when you’re testing a sick pup.!!!!

Bought these so I can check the sugar level in my dogs' urine in between vet visits where he gets the blood test. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I am doing everything I can for my diabetic dog. I would do it for my family members, why not my dog!!

Luckily I only had to use it once to check for a UTI. It worked. If anything else is required down the road will update accordingly.
