Good for the price.
I do wood carving for Japanese woodblock printing. I'm just a beginner so there's no reason to invest in expensive tools yet. These look like they will serve the purpose just fine. The blades are very dull, not sharp at all. As is, they'd be fine for carving pumpkins or something soft but if you wanted to use them on wood you're going to have to sharpen them first. (They're not safe to use on wood when they're that dull, you'll up hurting yourself or snapping the blade tips off.) Other than that they seem pretty nice. The blades are thicker than I expected and the handles are slim and square shaped so they won't roll off the table. The case it comes in is pretty nice too, much handier than trying to keep track of a bunch of caps for each tool. Side note: the pictures where they show these types of tools being used on carving wood blocks to make sculpture are wrong, they're even holding them upside down. These are for cutting thin grooves in wood, not carving shapes out of blocks. These types of knives are not made for that kind of work. You'd need to find another kind of wood carving knives for that.

Not quite the tools I had hoped
So-so. Lacks heft or feeling of solidity while using.

This thing went out in 2 months. The people that sold it are out of them which means that there will be lots of other pissed off people as well.
