I hate that I need to use this however it has proven very effective.
I have struggled for years with a rodent issue. When I needed an exterminator for a bug issue, they recommended the walk in bait stations, which naturally you need bait for. I hate, hate, hate, using this method however I had no choice. Works really well. I also got the bait stations on Amazon as well.

Works great for rodent control
Summary: Rodents are disgusting creatures that can carry a variety of diseases. Trapping and releasing them or trying to drive them away with noise or repellents is futile, they will only live on to infest your neighbors property. Eliminating them requires some strategic thinking about outdoor bait stations, where to place them and vigilance to keep them refilled but it's worth it when eventually mice are history. The 9 lb bucket is more economical than driving to the local store for 4lb buckets when you run out. If you tried this and it didn't work for you, or you just want more detail read on...PROS: Will eliminate rodents over time. Safer for non target animals or pets because multiple feedings are required. Bait blocks do not seem to develop mold or degrade when exposed to moisture, they hold up for several months in outdoor bait stations. I have found a few carcasses outside the house, but generally they seem to expire conveniently out of sight in the yard somewhere.CONS: Not a "one bite" poison. If you have a serious mouse or other rodent situation, I've found that several mice can eat five or six blocks of this stuff in a week or two. A bait station that only holds one or two blocks is not really sufficient, especially if you don't want to be bothered monitoring bait stations and refilling them as needed. The 4 lb bucket contains approx 30 blocks, maybe one months supply if you have several large bait stations. The 9lb bucket contains approx 64 blocks seems like a lot, but you don't want to run out. Continuous feeding over several weeks is required for rodents to ultimately be effected by it.NOTES: These bait blocks are designed to be used outdoors inside a tamper resistant bait station, secured with a wire or metal rod so they can't be carried away. While these particular blocks may not be super poisonous, they could definitely pose a risk to any small animal if just left out in the yard. Store in a sealed container away from moisture, out of reach of children and pets.

Very effective
It only took one application. About 4 squares per hole. And chipmunks were gone within a week.

Good value
From my research, this is the best price for a large quantity of this brand. When the product arrived, the cubes appeared lighter-colored than the same brand I've bought from local stores--speckled yellow-green rather than solid green--I don't know if this is normal or if it meant the product had degraded with time or storage conditions. I'm using this product to decrease the mouse population living underground all over my property, occupying mole tunnels; I want to decrease the chances of mice taking up residence in my home. I distributed half of the cubes around my property, inside some of the hundreds of mouse holes. After a week or two, most of them had not been touched. It's possible that my previous efforts had killed more of the mice than I had realized, so they simply weren't there to eat it. But I'm wondering if this batch might somehow have degraded (as possibly indicated by discoloration?) and become less attractive to mice. I've since filled most of the holes, and only a few have reopened a few months later, showing mouse activity.
