in less then a week sounds stop working which made my 4-years old grandson cry so much. wouln't recommend this product.

We got a hand-me-down train set from a relative, with the magnetized trains, all manual though. My 2 yo wanted me to push the trains and make choo-choo sounds all day. I bought this battery operated train to give myself a break. Best $16 I've spent, lol. I wonder how long the 2 batteries will last though, because he runs it all day. It's been about 3 days so far. It seems to be slowing down a bit.But he's also hitched 2 additional cars to it, so we'll see.

The media could not be loaded. We have same brand of wooden train set 39pcs for couples months and my 2.5 years old son Love. So we purchased this battery train for him but it stuck when climbing up the bridge…

My granddaughter loves playing with these trains on her track. They make sound but it stops quick enoughto be annoying. They also take a lot of bumping and dropping too. Use on & off track just watch it go across the floor for the fun. Yes, I would recommend this set of trains. As for battery life, I can only say we go through batteries because we play with them on and off tracks.
