Floris London No.89 Eau De Toilette Spray

This was a blind buy, after reading some Ian Fleming James Bond novels where Floris is mentioned often I had to try some of James Bonds secret juice. What an excellent fragrance, very sophisticated and timeless. It is more of an older scent but I think it still works for a younger man as well. Thankful that this was on amazon as it makes purchasing very easy. The next time I am in London I will for sure make a stop at 89 Jermyn St. and pick up some other gifts for friends and family. Thank you for continuing to make this scent Floris!

The first hints you get when you spray it on is that it smells like baby powder, but within a minute that smell fades and you have a light, sophisticated, and long lasting scent that's more masculine than floral, but light enough so you don't think you smell like an old man, or perhaps an old man who's full of life and class.

This one has a long long history. Very popular English scent. Used by Churchill and Ian Fleming ( James Bond 007 - creator) Good longevity. Subtle but spicy. Personally it’s sadly not my cup of tea ?!? I was disappointed when I experienced it in person. And definitely not inexpensive!!😮 But I’m sure it is loved by many , or it wouldn’t be around all these many years ! I personally will not be purchasing again 🤷‍♂️🥴🤷‍♂️

I was surfing for a skin moisturizer and the Floris of London After Shave Balm popped up and it had a great Moisturizer statement. When I put it in my shopping cart, the men's cologne popped up. I purchased both, and love them.

Light fragrance

This was a gift for my husband, who is a huge James Bond fan (it is alleged to have been Ian Fleming’s favorite, and that he had 007 wear it, too). It’s a very elegant scent, and my husband loves it.

I have used Floris 89 previously, and I loved it. It had a bright, citrus scent, with dominant notes of lemon.But now... I am disappointed in my recent purchase of Floris 89. It is now a heavy scent of flowers, overly sweet. It's hard to describe. A syrupy sweet melange of crushed flowers? The difference is so striking that I'm wondering if the wrong cologne was somehow put into this bottle. This was a waste of $135 dollars, and I'm going to return it.

Style and class. Not for everyone but for those who do, it's one of the best men's cologne out there. A Classic English fragrance that is timeless.
