Piano Exam Pieces 2023 & 2024, ABRSM Grade 4: Selected from the 2023 & 2024 syllabus (ABRSM Exam Pieces)

This is a really good selection of pieces for the Grade 4 syllabus. I'm perfecting the first two pieces: i) Pescetti - Presto (3rd movt from Sonata No. 6 in C minor); and ii) Farrenc - Mouvement de valse (No. 15 from 25 études faciles, Op. 50) and because I'm happy with my progress starting also a piece by Handel. Make use of the Youtube vidoes where there are some proper pianist (tutors and professionals) that have made videos of the pieces which are very helpful. I love the cover of this book too and the smiling student. The pieces are great and diverse. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Exam book. What more is there to say?

Am not doing grades but like to buy relatively straightforward pieces to learn.

As what I have bought

This book contains a selection of the 2023-24 exam pieces not the whole repertoire. My rating is for the quality of the book which is easy to read and use for playing. It's not good value, the ABRSM "system" is a bit of a racket really, you probably can find some or all of these tunes which are out of copyright for free else where.

This book has good music that’s pretty suitable for my level. But I feel like it’s a bit overpriced for how many songs are in there.
