Unit I received was not the one in the picture. Space unit that came was cheap and made in China with bad directions. The design for the filling was ridiculous unit did not work as described it actually mostly blew hot humid air

Even after pouring ice cold water into the tank it still blows room temperature ( warm) air. The ice pack that sits at the top of the machine does nothing to keep water cool and doesn’t help the machine blow cool air. For $ 150 it’s a bad deal. Very dissatisfied and hot.

I opened the box right away. The fan doesn’t work. I have to return it. :-(

This is basically junk! It doesn’t work at all. It will not cool down a small room! I wouldn’t rex this air conditioner to anyone!

We have a 2 story house with a room that my son's sleeps in that is furthest from the house air conditioner and it was always the hottest room in the house during the summer. We purchased this because we didn't want a window A/C unit on the front of the house. We were pleasantly surprised with how this works. Once we froze the water bottles, and filled it with water, everything was really straight forward. Which was good, because there wasn't much to the instructions.The unit actually pumps water over the frozen packs and blows the cool air out. Overall my son's room stays cooler. It was louder than I expected, but it works for my son since he sleeps with white noise anyway. When the "cooling" function is on, it does get quieter, and leaving it on the lowest setting blows plenty of air into his 12x12 room. Some things for improvement, I wish the water bottles stayed frozen longer, seems like they could have been bigger to fit the space or it could have come with some extra ones that could be freezing while others are in use. We have some flat ice packs that work great and can switch them out so easily. It works great and was exactly what we needed for that room.
