Do not buy (yet)
After a ton of research I concluded this was the best rack for my needs and concerns. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the Saris MHS line due to their oversight and unwillingness to provide a lighted bracket for a license plate. It is illegal in many states to obstruct the license plate which is what this item will do my truck when installed. Other than that it's a great rack but I'm not excited about traffic tickets and probable cause stops.
