I got these letter stencils to use in the background of some of my pet portraits. I was very pleased to see that the letters came already "punched out" so I didn't have to do that tedious job. Each letter was on its own sturdy plastic square, making them easy to use. The plastic is translucent, making it easy to see through it and line up the letters. I used a pencil to outline the letters so I haven't really had to clean them yet.Before I used the stencils I went through each letter and with a marker, wrote the letter in the upper right-hand corner, which makes it easier to find the letter I want in the pile and know how the letter should be oriented.With a little care I should be able to use these stencils for many years to come.

Have you used multiple times for signage for our restaurant and has stand up to multiple uses?

I bought these to write on a chalkboard at bunny shows. This helps tremendously because I need large, bold, clean letters FOR SALE. My handwriting is great but….these are better! Excellent help towards my business efforts!

I used these to decorate our teacher’s door for teacher appreciation day and it came out wonderfully. They work great, are sturdy and easy to use.

If you think you’ll need a set of stencils around 10-15 times in your life, these are exactly what you’re looking for. They are not the best out there, but you can’t complain about the price.However, if I had a hobby or some other need for stencils on a regular basis, I would HIGHLY recommend going with a different product.Most of the Pros and Cons I found are very minor if you plan to use them once or twice a year.That said, my 3 star rating would be a 4 or even 5 if they would change one thing…All of the characters (the larger upper case and the smaller lower case) are centered in the stencil. It doesn’t seem like a big deal until you are trying to use a straight edge or level line as a reference. If you place the bottom of the stencil on your reference line, considering the bottom of each character is at a different distance from the bottom of the stencil, the end product will have some of your characters higher or lower than others. Considering someone is taking the time to use a stencil, I’m pretty confident they want it to look good and… it just simply doesn’t.I think I’m this annoyed because it’s a simple and low cost issue to fix. Simply place the bottom of each character at the same distance from the bottom of the stencil.

Nice and thick, so they don’t warp or bend when tracing. Paint wipes off easily.

Weird font, thin plastic and some alphabets missing.
