The blades are sharp, gentle, and give a clean, smooth result every time. My skin feels softer and looks brighter after each use. The products in the kit are easy to use and help everything glide nicely. It’s a bit of an extra expense, but totally worth it to keep the device working the right way. Very happy with it. Review: They’re worth it you need the machine to go with these blades, but read my review - So you have to buy the derma flash product to go with these blades but I’ve stuck with it and I love it. I use it pretty much every morning I’m 55 and I have the stubborn chin hair that can’t be lasered anymore because it’s gray horribly. it’s what happens to us women but I love getting rid of all of the fuzz that comes around every couple of weeks and if you actually do it dry without the bomb, you get a good exfoliation on your skin. I’ve been very happy with it. Yes, it’s a little expensive, but I think it’s worth it. I’ve tried the other types of blades the cheaper ones and I’ve cut myself with those this derma blade. System has been consistent and in my opinion worth the price.

Love this product to shave fine facial hair. Bought product from dermatologist. Refill is great value.

Smooth cheeks!
This prep formula is meant to be used before dermaplaning to help the skin and hairs stand up for better treatment. The kit includes multiple single-use edges to replace the blade each time you “Flash.” Of course, these go with the Dermaflash Luxe+ which I can only RAVE about!! The device is smooth and nice to hold, and the blades click in nice! Blades give a close but safe result!! It is definitely worth your money!! I have had it a few years and absolutely love it!!

Love these
These razors are amazing and so much more cost efficient. An entire package for the cost of one treatment at a spa.

Great Refill Kit, But Please Ditch the Cleanser!
The DERMAFLASH ESSENTIALS Dermaplaning Replenishment Kit delivers excellent results...smooth skin, easy-to-use blades, and consistent quality. It’s a great at-home option for keeping up with dermaplaning between appointments, and the price point feels fair for the results. However, I’m deducting one star because the included facial wash feels wasteful. I already have a skincare routine I love, and I wish there were an option to purchase just the refill blades without the extra product. A more customizable kit would make this even better! Still a great product overall; just hoping for more flexibility in the future.

Works beautifully if you use it correctly.
Dermaflash has been the single best thing I have done for my skin with the exception of getting more sleep. I did the cystic acne route for years. But then as I got older, I started seeing congested groups of black heads on my chin and hollow of my cheeks. I tried everything from Proactive to other “acne cleansers”. I was able to remove most of them with the proper tool(s) and techniques but it annoyed me that in my early 50s I was having this issue. About 10 years ago I discovered Dermaflash. It took me a few weeks to get into the routine as it is with any new device. But I use it every other morning just after I wash my face and pat it dry. I do NOT use the serum/lotion that it comes with. I blade my skin dry. And you should come from a different angle for each area of your face. My nose is almost impossible to get (and I have tried the Dermaflash mini - meh). And if you have deep wrinkles take care in those areas as well. If you do it correctly, it’s akin to going to a salon for $200 dermabrasion. Because I have control, i.e., I am not in a salon or share my bathroom, I reuse a blade for a week (or 3x). After each use, I clean it with alcohol and store the device safely for my next use. I literally see layers of dry skin being taken off (and I do because I use my 10x mag mirror while doing it). And once you develop a routine - you will still see the uppermost layer being schloughed off, but it won’t be as much as when you first start. Or if you stop for a few weeks and then restart. I wish I could do it while videoing - it would tell the story without words. My skin is so much clearer. And I haven’t used coverup in years. Be patient. Give yourself time to use it (kids in bed or watching TV). Check the blade before you use it. Try using it on dry skin. Warning: on a very rare occasion - I want to say perhaps twice in 10 years, I receive a blade that is damaged. So after you load the blade and before you start - inspect the blade. It should be clean and the teeth should all be facing flat in the same direction. Once - there was a small indentation in one section - and when I used it - it scratched my face like a sewing needle would. Since then, I always check the blade before I use it. Also - in 10 years, the price of the blades has NEVER gone up. I wait until a sale to stock up.
