Great product. High quality. Keeps food warm for half a day. A folding spoon is very convenient. Every day my daughter brings lunch to school in this thermos. Easy to wash. I recommend this product.

Very disappointed I gave the Swede's a chance when this was similarly priced to the Thermos brand thermos which I know is good. I thought the spoon was cool but actually quite difficult to open up. The cap components came apart after first wash. I don't know if I put them together properly, and there is a rubber piece I have no idea where to put. For the few extra $ go with Thermos.

Key points:Tight fitting lid, it does not leak. No need to crank it tight, just a firm turn to secure it. I've had it lying flat, even upside down, and had zero leaks. I also store it with the lid on, but just barely.You should preheat or precool the container, as the case may be, the temperature will remain steady for several hours. My experience has been as many as 6 hours with very little change in temperature. I makes sure the lid is on as I condition the jar so the seal is the same temperature as the liquid or food. I do it for about 5 minutes or so.The inside of the lid is stainless, not plastic! I think this is a great touch and it shows the thoughtfulness of the design.The spoon snaps in and stays secure, I have had no problems with it so far.The recess around the outside of the provides a good grip.Its easier to clean if you have a brush. I use my travel mug brush. The mouth is wide, which really helps for eating, and I can fit 3 fingers of my adult hand in there with a sponge to clean it, however, a brush works better.I was in contact with customer service over a question I had about the product. I messaged them on December 24 and received a very nice and helpful reply on December 25. That was actually a surprise considering the time frame.

Really like this thermos. I wish the spoon was actually secured in its spot though. It constantly falls out of its spot and rattles in the lid

Have only used the food jar twice but so far it’s a winner. Kept my soup very warm/lukehot after well over 6 hours stored. Jar is attractive, doesn’t leak, folding spoon is nifty, all at a very reasonable price.

I bought this food jar primarily because it is the only one that I could find which has a stainless steel interior **for the lid** as well, so only stainless steel touches your food. I am not super paranoid about this in general, but given that the main use case is to pour boiling hot water into it and then toss it into a bag, I really wanted to avoid having any kind of plastic touching the food.After I got it, I took it backpacking once, and did not use it again, which is why I did not post a review. But last week, I attended a workshop where they did not provide lunch. I went out to lunch the first day, but that took a lot of time, and was not super healthy (pizza).So every other day, I took instant noodles from home in this food jar. The noodles were dehydrated, so did not add much weight to my bag, and I could just add the hot water they provided for tea once I got there to get perfect cooked noodles right around lunchtime. The food jar almost exactly holds one pack of instant noodles + some dried veggies. The folding spoon made it easy to move between lunch meetings even if I hadn't finished all my noodles. And even on the last day, when I had to fill it with water at home in the morning and then ride a bicycle, nothing leaked.I was so happy with the performance of the jar, that I wanted to order a couple more for members of my family, only to find out that it is currently unavailable. Argh!Friendly Swede, please bring this jar back! (snälla ta med det här igen?!) We need the ability to take boiling hot food without worrying about melting a plastic lid.

Very Good. Can Hold a whole can of soup. Keeps food warm for 12+hr. big opening for your spoon. Fits in lunch box easily. Product doesn't say much but does its job

Leak proof container, kept food (soup) warm for 3 hours. Nice slimmer shape and tight lids. Included spoon and top lid that can be used as a cup both added to convenience.
