Bought this based on the positive reviews. I had high hopes but yhe knife i received was dull. It could barely cut through an onion. Seriously? Not sure if it's because i received a bad one? Gave two stars because I like the weight and feel of the knife. Definitely would not recommend.

I have to be careful buying knives because I have arthritis and I also have small hands without much strength. I considered this cleaver because I like the hole I can put my finger into and I like the wooden grip. I have another cleaver I bought years ago at a Chinese grocery and I like it but I thought having another heavier cleaver would be a good idea. Overall I am pleased it is nice looking and it suits my needs.

I am really surprised that this knife is as good as it is. I used it tonight to prep my dinner and it was great. Cut everything in really thin slices and the cleanup was quick and easy.

The media could not be loaded. Great knife. Heavy duty for chopped meat. Balanced and quite a nice Nordic look to it. Can chop meat and slice veggies without a beat. Will be taking this to some of the BBQ venues I go to to help friends with prep. Definitely recommend.
