This card gave my ibm a50 workstation some added life to power my intel i865g chipset motherboard Overall the card gave me a boost throughtout the use of this pc

I purchased this card to use in a PVR computer I built from an old tower. Purpose is to output video to an old 4:3 aspect ratio tube TV (not flat panel). It installed easily in XP and I was up and running very quickly. There was a little problem when I could not output a video signal to the TV, but after connection to a computer monitor and flipping a few switches in the control panel, I had video on my TV (S-Video output). To ensure that the computer was stable and the video interface worked, my wife and I watched 4hr of streaming video from Hulu.com. Very few glitches overall- some pixelization and a very very small amount of video stutter. Occasionally the video feed would freeze if I was in full screen mode. The only remaining problem I have, and it is a big one right now- is that the size of the picture/content is too big for the screen. I have the resolution set to the lowest possible, but the edges of content still disappear outside the screen. No way I have found so far to shrink the picture to so that all of the content is completely visible in the screen. As far as interaction with the computer is concerned, all of the video processing takes place in the card, reducing the load on the CPU and RAM, which is what I wanted. Until I can correct the screen size issue, I can only give the card 3 stars.

1st off, I've tried at least a dozen ATI and NVIDIA cards over the past 6 years and I'm a SOLID Nvidia fan! ATI has too many little glitches when gaming and mutitasking as well. 2ndly, BFG is one of the very few companies still out here that offers a lifetime warranty on their products! AWESOME! This gard is good at what it does but if your a legit gamer, you're going to want at LEAST an 8 pixel pipeline card, anything less and you'll really notice framedrops/lag as you scale up your games. My recommendation then would be to grab the 6600 or 6800 series or drop back to the 5700 ultras or better (5900, 5950 series). This as a discounted alternative from having to shell out over $250 on a card. Also, as a matter of preference, it seems these DDR cards work more fluid then the newers memory DDR2/3 ones.

I don't know why these other people are having trouble with their cards, but I have had this card for awhile now and it is great. it has run every game I have thrown at it, and with no problems whatsoever. If you simply update your drivers then most problems disappear. I love this card and I am only selling it because I got a better one for christmas.

I just got 2 of these cards to upgrade my business computers and have the same problems with significant artifacts all over the screen during presentations, editing documents and even in just ordinary explorer windows. the cards seem to both do this behavior, and I'm really dissapointed. for games they look great, and get a 3000+ 3Dmark even in an old 600 celeron Gateway, but thats not why they were purchased, I have to agree with the previous reviewer, not a good investment for business use.

I saw nothing wrong this card. Easy to install. Just follow the directions to uninstall old drive and reinstall the new one. I can now play all my latest games with this card. graphics/speed,everything is perfect at least for me anyways. remember you can't please everyone so if you want to spend more for money for what you dont need go ahead. This card suits just fine.
