I was sorry when I finished this book because it was well written and informative. I like the way that every avenue of research was explored in search of authenticity and the warmth with which the narrative was described. It also does a great job of showing the monumental amount of work which goes into producing a programme from scratch if it is to be realistic. I enjoyed reading about the actors and the way they went about their business.

Lovely book, very informative and full of details about the TV series....really interesting reading. If you love the new series you will not be disappointed. Recommend.

Fascinating to read the stories from cast members and all the other people putting together this terrific series. It is lovely to know that everyone gets on as well as it appears on screen. Very enjoyable.

Brought this book upon getting a job working behind the scenes of this amazing show. It is well written and a great book to link with the show itself. Very well laid out and pictures of all the cast and crew which is a lovely touch. No faults as its exactly what you'd expect from a book. I was lucky enough to been able to make mine a tiny bit more special by getting the cast to sign my book as a memory of me being apart of the making of the series.

I want to send this book back! I love the series, but the book was not what I expected. Just alot of rehashing...nothing new. Very disappointing!
