I have been wanting to set up a backyard movie night for my young son and had been looking into inexpensive projectors for quite awhile. I finally took the plunge and picked this model up and I am so glad I did. The picture is wonderful, the unit is quiet, and the interface is easy. I simply hooked up my laptop via HDMI and connected a soundbar via Bluetooth (to my laptop, this projector does not support Bluetooth) and it was perfect. I will disclaimer that my backyard is extremely dark and there is little to no interference from light sources. I cannot speak to the quality of the picture in a situation where is streetlights or something like that. My only complaint would be that it is not super simple to focus the picture because you have to turn the lens housing and my big hands kind of get in the way of that.This is in no way and high quality, movie theater quality projector and would not make a good choice to serve as a full-time replacement for a television or something like that, but for an inexpensive alternative to high dollar projectors, you really can't go wrong.

This thing is great. The sound could be a little better, but hooking speakers up to it is no problem at all. The picture quality is not 4k, but I still think it's very clear. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

For this price range, I don't believe it gets any better, really... I took a single start out, maybe because it doesn't matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the focus to be clear on the borders when using a bigger screen (setting it up at a further distance from the wall). But if you use it in a dark room (doesn't even need to be pitch black dark), it does show nice colors and it is good enough to make you feel like you are watching a good quality movie. Don't count on it for small or even medium sized text, though... the resolution just isn't quite there... but if you are looking for something to watch videos on, by all means, just get it! =)

I thought this would be a great gift idea for my 13 year old daughters. Turns out it is not compatible with streaming, which was the reason why I made the initial purchase. In addition, USB port is for a USB drive that already has the movie downloaded on there. I'll have to purchase a cord for it so it'll hook up to their phones. Totally don't like all the inconvenience, and I'm not a big fan if this product.

Works really good, especially for such and inexpensive projector.
