I returned it and bought large rectangular model for mega live install. Neat and clean install

I got it to work on ovoid, two conductor (Romex style) wire, but it wasn't easy, and it took an extra amount of sealant.

I used this to implement an attractive and water tight cable pass-through into the house. Although pricey, it looks really nice and professional. Much better than a drilled hole for the cable and globs of silicon sealant.

Easy to use, it comes with little copper tubes that work incredibly well for drilling holes in the rubber grommet, I’ve actually used them a few times on other things now as well. I also like that the cover and the seal part fastens to a base plate. If you need to make changes to what goes through the seal you don’t have to re-bed the base plate because it attaches separately. Seems like a quality piece.

Looks good now that it is in place, but it was very difficult to drill a hole in the rubber stopper for the cable.

Works great and very well made. If using fir a fish finder transducer cable you have to get the retrofit kit.

These simply do not last. I had mine installed for for less than a year. They are made from the wrong kind of plastic for outdoor use. The grey outer cover is cracking and now I’m worried it’s going to leak. The worst part is the wire is inaccessible and now it’s going to be a total nightmare to replace. Stick with a brand like BlueSea. Regretting buying this now.
