Riesa Egg Pasta in Bag, Wild Garlic, 12.30 Ounce

Well, the first bags we bought were at a Tuesday Morning or Big Lots and under a different brand label, and we really liked the wild garlic, so eventually I found them closer to their normal distribution channels. I believe both brands were actually made by the same people.I like colored pasta (strips or not), healthy pasta (e.g. higher protein content) and flavorful pasta. This product is one of those flavorful varieties. The wild garlic taste is subtle, but overall it improves whatever sauce you put with it.So we're a repeat customer now and try to always have some on hand.

These are tasty! They absorb more fluid than regular egg noodles. I've learned to double my fluid in a soup or casserole, especially if expecting leftovers. What starts out as soup ends up as casserole tomorrow. Tasty, but be aware.

Really great flavor of wild garlic. I like to make an Alfredo sauce with roasted chicken, pheasant, or pork tenderloin and make a one bowl dish with it.
